The Drifter's Lodge accommodations and staff were all outstanding. Very well run and organized operation. All the staff and guides were super friendly pros. It's a great basecamp to go fishing and explore the area. One of the most memorable fishing trips and experiences we've ever had. I highly recommend Drifter's Lodge and Cooper Landing.

We had the very good fortune of getting Ben as a guide for our first day of fishing on the Kenai River and were able to ask for him again on our last day of fishing on the Kenai River. As an intermediate skill fisherman, I can’t speak highly enough for Ben’s gift as a patient guide and teacher. Once he determined that we could cast a lure with reasonable accuracy, he put us on fish quickly, he carefully instructed us on not setting the hook to quickly and/or too hard, he told us precisely how far upstream to cast, he gently reminded us if we were reeling too fast or too slow for the structure that we were fishing, and made it easy to get fish in the boat. If you have the good fortune of fishing the Kenai River, ask for Ben. You’ll be one happy fisherman.

Once again, I had a wonderful trip and experience fishing with Drifter's Lodge. This was my second trip with these folks and they are fantastic! This is very scenic lodge, a great location on the river and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The staff bends over backwards to accommodate your needs, not that you'll have any, since they've thought of everything. Very friendly and great service. Their fishing guides are very friendly, knowledgeable and will put you on fish. They will make it happen or do their level best to ensure you have a great trip. I've been to other lodges and fished with others, but no one can beat this operation! A big thank you to the staff, guides and owner of Drifter's, you never disaapoint!

We stayed 3 blissful days with Drifters. Our fishing guides Cam and John were absolutely excellent. They put us on great fish but also were full of information on the ecosystem, the life cycle of the fish and the river. We fished the Kenai in a boat for trout one day and in the river for Salmon. Still enjoying the delicious Salmon back home in Colorado and looking forward to getting back up to stunning, vast Alaska. Drifters is absolutely perfect the cabins are spacious but cozy, the breakfast nook with the best blueberry muffins you have ever put in your mouth and a large variety of breakfast options is available even for the earliest departures. All of the staff are as excited about your adventure as you are and bend over backwards to make you feel welcome.

There are not enough positive words to describe our experience with Drifters! Great staff, knowledgeable guides that are super accommodating and friendly, perfect equipment for fishing all provided by Drifters. We limited every day! They prep and filet on the spot. A++ in our book!

We went on a half day Rainbow Trout - Dolly Varden Trout guided fishing trip with Alexa. She was a very knowledgeable guide, she really understood us, and understood how to make the most of the situation. Thank you Alexa for a great trip! I would recommend drifters lodge and in particular Alexa for a guided trip.

Visited Alaska and The Kenai Peninsula a month ago with my 74 year old Dad. To say it was a trip of a lifetime is an understatement. The staff and facilities at Drifters are all first class. Many thanks to Bob, Evan, Ally, and our fishing / rafting guides Ben, Jon, and Tommy for 3 unforgettable days of fishing and rafting. You guys did an amazing job of catering to our every need and provided memories that will last us a lifetime. If you are an outdoors person you will love everything about this place. My Dad has not stopped talking about it since we got back. Worth every penny. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Alaska Experience. Cant wait to go back!

This trip was to happen in last year but "Covid" happened. This year we made the trip. Since we had paid in full last year they honored what we had paid and no additional charges( had another Lodge that we paid for in full and they added additional charges because we delayed the trip). The guides, fishing, accommdations, staff were all perfect. Can't say enough good things. Fished with them 3 days - each day different and near perfect. My only complaint is that we were having such a great and relaxing time we asked to stay another day and they were full (too bad for us). The staff is very friendly and accommdating and the blueberry muffins in the morning are to die for. Thanks Driffers and hope to bring my boys back someday. It is always nice to meet the owner - shows they really care about the clients and not just the bottom dollar. Great vacation stop for us.

Our stay at Drifter's Lodge on July of 2021 was easily the most memorable vacation my husband and I ever had! On the first day, we went fishing with our guide John, who was extremely patient with us as he taught us how to properly fish. Hunter was also an excellent guide as he taught us how to fly fish. On another day, we went on a fly-in fishing salmon/bear tour and saw glaciers, bears and gorgeous mountain views. On our last day, Cam spent all day with us as we fished for trout on the river. In addition to all the wild adventures we experienced, we enjoyed our rest at the cabin, which was clean and comfortable. We were also offered a delicious breakfast from the attentive and kind staff. Thank you Bob for an unforgettable experience, thank you Ali for organizing our itineray and thank you to all the staff for your caring attention. We will cherish these five days for the rest of our lives and we can't wait to come back for more adventures! - Cristina and Adrian
