This truly is a piece of paradise.....your own little tiny island at the end of the mainland of Aitutaki. The accommodation was fantastic. The food was pretty good. i am pretty certain the pernod was watered down in the bar though which was annoying. Other than the weak pernods the whole thing was fantastic. We had a 'cheap' room (460pn)... More

We came to Aitutaki for our honeymoon. We wanted peace and quiet and a great swimming area. That's what we got. The hotel isn't far from the airport by bus and barge. All rooms are water facing. Ours was just the lead in which was good enough. Amazing view. The room was large with an outdoor shower. This is by... More

Spent a lovely 3 nights here on our own little island, everything from the room to the friendly staff made the stay an excellent choice! Especially loved the Happy Hour - great way to meet other people in the resort.

This property is the best located hotel in Aitutaki, right on the lagoon. The hotel classes itself as a 5 star which is over stated. The rooms were nicely equipped and presented and the food in the restaurant was good, breakfasts were delicious, lovely and the grounds were beautifully kept. However the property is quite tired. The swimming pool and... More

When you are at the end of the earth you really aren't held to the same standards. Or at least that is what I think happened. My wife and I paid good coin to stay at this "resort" and it was chosen based on Tripadvisor and other travel sites. The service from the airport to the resort was organized but... More

The island this resort is on is stunning. The resort takes up the whole, tiny island, which is accessed across a narrow channel in a shuttle barge (there used to be a bridge, but no longer). The rooms are recently updated and are very clean. Wait there's more....... If your idea of a perfect holiday is to sink Heinekens all... More

Aitukai has got to be one of the most beautiful places on this earth. The colours in the lagoon have got to be seen to be believed. The over water rooms at the resort, may be a little pricey, but are well worth it. The restaurant menu, is a little limited for non meat eaters. But what we had was... More

We were lucky and got a free upgrade to this resort from their sister resort. Thankfully we didn't have to pay anything because this resort is not 5 star and not worth the money they ask for. The service staff are nice, but the reception staff are disorganised and rude. Despite knowing we were coming on our first day, our... More

We stayed here for three nights. The second day we spent on the Vaka Cruise, this was an outstanding cruise. Highly recommended. The third day we had breakfast in the Lagoon Resort Restaurant and by 1pm both my wife and I were very sick with food poisoning. We had only eaten at that restaurant. The resort would not take ownership... More

We stayed for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. The lagoon is absolutely stunning and being so close to water is awesome. We were in one of the deluxe waterfront bungalows. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and the food was great :)

The only private island, adults only resort in the Cook Islands. It is the only Cook Islands resort to offer that invention of incurable romantics - the Overwater Bungalow.
