Our bungalow was great, with air conditioning as a treat. The beach is not for swimming but is so beautiful! Very friendly staff who were willing to help us with a variety of things (scooter rental, dives, translating) Great restaurant with a lovely warm pool on site. Beautiful island with a few very wonderful swimming beaches. Great stay!

This was not a planned stay and i happen to stay here only because my flight was rescheduled. The rooms are big and clean and most, if not all, are solarpowered. The people were very friendly and helpful. They operate free shuttle from the hotel to city centre (some call it downtown) or can give you a bicycle to ride.... More

We chose this property for the self-catered bungalows. We found ours to be sparsely equipped but adequate. The thing that made this property great was the service. Everyone was so extremely helpful. The meals were great and fairly priced. A/C was a bonus. Bicycles, snorkels and rental car, everything we needed. Beautiful island, when we return to Huahine this is... More

We had a wonderful time there. The owner is so welcoming, the rooms very comfortable and the food fabulous. I don't know why people don't spend more time on Huahine. this was my favorite island. From that hotel you can rent car, bicycle, scooter and explore so many landmarks. The hotel also provide transfer, one in the morning and one... More

If you want to chill, this place is lovely. It is not a fare but more a hotel. The sunset are lovely. It takes about 20minutes to walk to town . We hired scooter from reception for a couple of days and explore this beautiful, clean, green and peaceful island.

So simple! Fare Maeva is such a happy place. Why? For all of the good things other reviewers have said about it and hardly any of the bad. The photos show exactly what it’s like. But they don’t show the people working there who are just so friendly and helpful always. Going back? Sure am! Richard – in a wheelchair... More

Great peaceful place in Huahine, nice pool and good restaurant too. There is no beach but the village's beaches are not far away and you can rent a bike there. The staff was extremely helpful, they went out of their way to organize transfers, pick-ups, additional towels etc... The only suggestions I would have : put mosquito nets on the... More

This place was great. even though they advertise it as a Pension Fare, but this place is more than that. It runs like a hotel/ resort. The rooms are big size, very clean and everything functional. The lobby overlooks the water and you can see a wonderful sunset from the deck chairs. We had our drinks in the lobby area... More

The owner, Moana (Brian), speaks English perfectly, along with most of his staff. He was kind enough to rent me a room at a special price for single. There are cars and scooters available for rent, owned by Moana and located on the property. They have a restaurant with many option on the menu. Ice cold beer on tap, for... More

Fare Maeva on Huahine was pleasant and functional. We had two nights here prior to a sailing trip. It is well-positioned for both airport and harbour. Our room had a/c and a fridge but no other facilities apart from the bathroom with shower. A short walk took us to the reception area and dining area with a pool between this... More
