An easy 2.5km walk into town, although you can hire a bike from the pension for 1000francs. There's a nice pool and a dock out the back and the kitchen has what you need for basic meals. Bathrooms could do with a bit of a tidy up but, this is more the norm for this region rather than a problem...

A good mix of dorm room, private rooms and private cabanas, this is a good spot. Sits in a nice bay. Very easy access to town. (Uturoa) Friendly staff. Good size community kitchen. And has a pool, a rarity for pensions at this price. I recommend.

II spent 5 days at Pension Tepua and I found this place very comfortable and friendly. The dormitory, the washrooms and the kitchen were always clean. The swimming pool was very clean too and always accessible. The location is good as well: just 10 minutes by bycicle from Uturoa Center. The staff is very friendly and even though they don't...

Even though th host tries really hard to make you feel good it is not a very good place. Average food, rooms are noisy with flimsy walls and just not a great feeling altogether. There are better places to go to...

DON'T STAY HERE!! Worst stop of our trip. We stayed on 5 different islands (at least on this trip) in 4 different pensions and this was by far the worst. We stayed in a pension in Maupiti in worse physical condition, but at least that owner tried to go the extra mile for us and had a lot of heart....

We stayed at Pension Tepua for five nights and we loved it. Joe met us at the airport, took us and then collected us, from every tour we did. He was extremely genuine and very helpful.
