Good location for walking to attractions, food, pubs and services. 2nd floor double bed room (across the street from main building) was more like an apartment than a hotel room very spacious, with a nice covered outdoor porch/balcony. Nice bathroom but NO hot water when we attempted to shower (would have given it 4 stars if it did) and it's... More

The location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance from pubs, supermarkets, museums pretty much everything all the tours we took had pick ups at the hotel door. The staff is friendly and our room was really nice.If you like dogs and cats this is the place for you.

You have a pet and you don't know where to stay in SJ. Get down to casa 69, one of the friendliest hostel I have been in my life. This adorable hotel is located in a perfect spot to be able to walk to great restaurants, great nightlife plus gorgeous parks, museums etc. Great breakfast. Just a warning, there were several very sweet dogs staying on the property in the common areas and we would have appreciated a warning about that because my fiancé is very allergic to dogs.... More

Perfect! We were picked up at the airport, just looked for the Casa 69 sign guy and we were wisked right there. We had a room on the top floor with a wonderful view of the city, even if you are not up on that floor be sure to go up there and check it out! We went to the... More

This place was adorable. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and it was in the heart of San Jose. Just minutes walk to any bars and restaurants. They had a small one car garage for $10 a night I believe it was. I recommend using the garage if you plan on staying for a few days and... More

Casa 69 was a nice and safe place to stay. Big clean room, breakfast is good. Location is perfect. 10 min walk to the centre and some good restaurants or pubs around the corner. We booked a lager room then we eventually got, it was a little mistake but it worked out just fine. No problems.

Stayed just 1 night in transit and thought it was great value. This isn't 5 star so don't expect that, it's great for the budget traveller. Staff were friendly (only a bit challenging at night with 1 guy not speaking much English, but he was lovely and friendly regardless), we love dogs so that wasn't a problem. The only recommendation... More

Stopped in to see the rooms for 2 adults and 1 child. They had a boy 3 very big dogs and about 4 more smaller one. This is not a good place for someone with kids or with allergies. They offer me two rooms not one. Not sure how they thought 6 year old could stay in a separate room... More

You entered our hotel to inquire about accommodations. Our policy is 2 people to a bed unless the child is 3 years or under. You needed a room with 2 beds. Ours were all rented so the staff offered you the only thing we could - 2 rooms. You walked away in anger and within hours submitted a negative review.... More

The rooms are well kept, and importantly STAY COOL throughout the day. Casa69 is right next to Central Avenue so any Sodas(cheap restaurants), restaurants, markets, or shops are within walking distance (along with the bus stop). Oskar who works the graveyard shift is ex-military, so you never have to worry at night. Additionally, He'll always help you find things to... More
