Our flight to SJO was a day late due to volcanic activity and we were frustrated with cancellation charges and sunk costs, so decided to not pre-book for this night, The airport has no real information desk, so finding a place on short notice with a bad wifi connection was challenging, but we went with Adventure Inn because of the...

A bit different (weird) but does the job. Reasonable price, includes breakfast and an airport shuttle. Make sure you check the shuttles availability the night before! Can't just show up in the morning. It's decor is a bit weird but I'd stay there again for the value. Dinner nights before was good, Mexican burger. Also craft beers. Air conditioners in...

When you book through a third party you overpay, plus they won't release your contact information, so we can't tell how to catch your free airport transfers, before you book, contact us first. Fortunately most people enjoy our authentic Costa Rican style decoration, it gets you in the mood to discover our great country.

Was on the way home to Canada, when flight was cancelled due to volcano. When searching hotels, adventure inn was the only hotel that didn't gouge prices. When we showed up, we were so pleasantly surprised by the great helpful staff. Comfy clean rooms. And great pool area. And great sad neighbourhood. Close to airport. We ended up being stuck...

5/5 for this hotel because it's such a great sanctuary when you first arrive in Costa Rica and a welcome retreat before you leave. It's still dated like most of the hotels in this country but the service is amazing! The service starts as soon as you book. Book directly through the hotel and you'll receive lots of useful information...

Our flight landed too late to drive up to La Fortuna, and I didn't want to stay near the airport so I booked a night here. So glad I did!!!! The hotel manager was beyond helpful and even arranged for my rental car. The cafe servers are friendly and outgoing, the pool and view were awesome and the room was...

We stayed at the Adventure Inn twice during our stay in Costa Rica as it conveniently close to the airport. Being from Canada, we loved the fact we could support hotel owners Mike and Eric Robinson who hail from Canada too. Mike and Eric were extremely responsive to all our emails. They helped arrange a rental car, the Interbus shuttle...

There's a whole lot of 5 star reviews on this place - which I'm not really sure why. For the price, this place is pretty good. It's a convenient location if you're landing in San Jose and need somewhere to stay for a night. However, the rooms are clearly dated and could use a little renovation (new paint on the...

We are honoured that you would compare us to our neighbour the Hilton where their breakfast starts at $29, ours is included, and their dinner...well you could imagine, airport transfers are $25, ours are free, WiFi in your room is $10 per day, ours is free, and the underpaid staff with no upward mobility lack enthusiasm, not to mention the...

I chose Adventure Inn after reading about it on Trip Advisor and I am glad I made the choice to stay here! The confirmation email from the owners (received immediately after booking) was very informative. Our stay included breakfast and a shuttle to the airport. The staff was welcoming-our stay was perfect! I would definitely stay here again. We travel...

We booked this hotel for our 1st and last night in Costa Rica, and it was an excellent choice. There is everything you need to unwind and relax after a long plane ride or before flying back home.
