We stayed here for my birthday/valentines day from Feb. 10-17 and it was more than what we could ask for. The breakfast that was included was amazing each and every day! Eggs freshly cooked upon order, gallo pinto, fruit, juice, coffee, crema, toast, tortillas and a la cart options such as bacon, milk, cereal, and yogurt for a very small price (about 1US each). I loved eating this breakfast every day! All the staff are super friendly, and the rooms/hotel is clean. There is free wifi that is fast and it's located in a central location that is walking distance to convenience stores, but also UBER is a huge thing now! Readily available and super cheap from this location to main places like the airport, San Jose, malls and markets! They also offer water bottles upon request so you…

We had the most amazing experience at this hotel! James and Jesse are incredible hosts. They even gave us a ride to get Chinese food and to the grocery store. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 5 star customer service!

I flew in for a quick 5 night stay to visit a friend for his birthday The staff is very friendly and more than accomadating for requests The decor embraces the love of many Art pieces bundled with the quiantness of this establishment size, you will feel at hime. I would suggest Uber for any driving needed to be done Most cars have air conditioning Location is just within a couple miles of the US Embassy I will return for more adventure next time and would definitely recommend staying here Thank you to Cindy , Margaret , Janet , Tatiana for making my stay comfortable Mucho grasias

This hotel is beautiful, it is like an art museum and all the paintings are done by local artists. The only fall back is the hard beds, the rooms themselves are very nice. the breakfast was wonderful and all the help very friendly and professional. we would definitely come back again.

A very nice hotel. Walked in and pleasantly surprised with the decor, very unique, eccentric, super cool. The 2 women running reception were fabulous, so so friendly. Also spoke very good English which was helpful for us The gentlemen who assisted with our bags was also so friendly; just a genuine nice guy. Super tiny bar with like 6 seats. 2 young local professional guys were hanging at the bar having food and beers, good sign. Our group was admittedly a pain in the butt but the employees took great care of us. Bathroom amenities smelled great. No pool. Restaurant next door was fine, pricey. Not much in the area but s great place to stay in Alajuela for a night or 2, not far from airport. Breakfast included.

Can't say enough about the excellence of this place. It seriously reminds me of an art gallery and boutique all meshed into a hotel with amazingly attentive staff who go out of their way to please. Our stay was a very brief two nights with late arrivals and early departures due to tours. They allowed us to use their kitchen facilities to prepare some market bought produce, provided cereal and fruit for us because we couldn't make the hours of their breakfast in the morning, and scrambled to find us "to go" cups for our coffee (along with a staff member having a fresh pot of coffee made for us by 5:30 a.m.!) so we could take some with us in our van. Wow! They literally left no stone unturned to make our stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. I can't believe the price for…

Wow, what am eclectic place this is! From the street, it appears to have Spanish-inspired architecture and no one would be the wiser on what adventurous furnishings await you inside. Immediately at the entrance you will know this place is unique, as wild paintings and sculptures greet you at the quaint main lobby. I found from the contractor who built the place, that the hotel is actually made up of 8 different houses, and is the reason for it's very wild interior. It's a beautiful place with amazing rooms and definitely loads of conversation starters in nearly every centimeter of this hotel. Highly recommended!

This is a really nice place. Like a bed and breakfast with great charm. Clean, large rooms, fridge. Very friendly staff. But, hard to find in a rental car without GPS. Finally, a young couple who spoke English showed us the Maps.me app that did not need an internet connection. You download a Costa Rica map, and we are there. Extremely good value. Hot breakfast was very good. Extremely pleasant server/cook. As good a value as you will get.
