The room was quite nice and the restaurant that is attached to the hotel was great. What ruined it for me was the traffic noise: shouting, honking engine noise. On our last night the whole building was shaking like a huge truck motor was running. Not very restful at all.

Stayed here on three separate nights. First night we were in room 24, very spacious but we didn't like how dark it was. Spent the other two nights in room 16 which was much smaller but we preferred it because it was much lighter. Had breakfast there three times. A bit expensive for what you got but the dining room...

Stayed for three nights upon arrival in Costa Rica. First time in the country, the hotel was situated close enough to San Jose's city center to easily walk yet far enough away to be relatively quiet. The staff were extremely welcoming and able to accommodate our very limited Spanish. The room was small, but only used it for sleeping so...

This is a very quaint, friendly hotel, walking distance to all the sites in San Jose. It's at the foot of a fairly gentle hill that leads to the central parks and the cathedrals. The staff are warm and welcoming and there's a very lively restaurant on site that attracts locals in the evenings. The rooms are spacious and comfortable...

Came down with my girlfriend this trip and was looking for a quieter place to stay than the usual. Hotel Dunn was everything I expected and more. The rooms are actually nicer than the pictures and it looked like they were in the process of renovating all of the rooms. The free breakfast wasn't that good but I can't complain...

Only staying in San Jose for a night before going to Jaco. The room was a lot better than expected. Must have been renovated recently. Free breakfast was good as well but ordered pancakes extra because it wasn't so filling. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends because it is one of the nicer ones I've...

It's our policy to recommend our clients to take offical cabs for their own security. When they call a company to ask for a cab they write down the plate number and hour. This way if there is any kind of inconvenience or lost items it's easier to help the client. What they informed you it's true. If they call...

Super cute hotel at an awesome rate. It was connected to a decent restaurant. The restaurant is romantic at night and we ate there almost every night. The walls of our room were thin and the neighborhood was a little sketchy, but I felt safe though. There was a corner store not too far away and a major Shopping Center...

Someone has spent a lot of money on common area tv's, lampshades, art and glass. If you go there you will see what I mean. The bed was average, certainly not sumptuous, but ok. I slept.
