This hotel has aproximately 80 rooms. Although not all the rooms are equal, the hotel works hard to upgrade rooms. During my stays, I found the rooms to be very spacious. The bathrooms looked good. Many of the other reviews state noise issues from outside traffic. While some traffic noise maybe heard, It can't be heard while the AC is... More

We spent a night here with a group of 40+ kids. It was small, quite and we enjoyed it. It was a perfect little slice of clean, easy and relax. The next day we were heading to the mountains but this place was home for the night. The showers were full of hot water for a late night bath. Our... More

There is a nice cafe area attached with decent breakfast, but GREAT dinner. It is close to an area that has some type of bar atmosphere so you are able to hear people having a good time (might not be the best if you are trying to sleep, but it happens). Close distance to a nightlife spot and a few... More

The hotel is fairly average, nothing too special. The rooms looked a bit dated. My biggest problem was that our room didn't have a fan, making it very hot. Also we were level with a busy road and all night you could hear noisy trucks. The window didn't close all the way, making the noise worse and letting in rain.... More

This hotel has a good location for the airport and is ideal for a first/last night stay in the city. I stayed twice, at the beginning and end of a tour. Both rooms were big, with a soft comfortable double bed and lots of pillows. Everything was clean. The bathrooms were in need of upgrading - they were looking old... More

Like many of previous reviewers we stayed here at the start and end of our tour. Rooms were variable to say the least. Our first room was awful really in need of a make over. The bathroom was poor with quite a climb into the bath. Despite the grubbiness it did have very white towels! Breakfast was ok and there... More

The hotel was average, needed some TLC. stayed 2 nights,so that we could do a couple of city tours, the hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. Our room overlooked a busy main road so was quite noisy due to a window that needed fixing. Food was fine for a "townie" hotel. Was glad to move on.

Stayed for 2 nights at beginning of tour.Arrived late at night, checkin good and fast with a welcome assortment of sandwiches in the room.Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel certainly needs a makeover. The reception area is old and tired as were the rooms.Ours was quite large overlooking the pool which was overlooking 2 roads hence quite noisy and as... More

Simple hotel with nice friendly staff. Rooms are dated with poor insulation from heavy traffic noise(the hotel is in the middle of a very busy junction).Bathrooms poor with huge step up to get into shower and looking very tired. Nice pool area with jacuzzi. Beer also the most expensive we found on our trip-$4 for small bottle of local Imperial.

Stayed 2 nights at start of a group tour & 1 at end. Check in late on first night was reasonably quick. Breakfast was OK with a reasonable choice, the usual rice & beans, fruit, some other hot dishes and some bread, jam and excellent biscuits. Room as others have said is dated, but served its purpose without any complaint.... More
