This is a nice place to stay and a real value. We stayed here on two seperate occasions. The inclusive breakfast is great too! The owner, Sandra, booked a wonderful 3-day tour to Volcano Arenal for us which included a cabin with a view of the volcano and really nice pool. We would recommend this place to anyone staying a night...

The room felt a little run down, but was clean. The bathroom was very clean. They had soap dispensers, but had not been refilled. The hotel has lots of amenities that you can check off, but doesn't change the fact that the rooms are tired. We did enjoy our stay though and would recommend the hotel. Big TV with lots...

Well I have very mixed feelings about this place. Would I go back, probably not. This is definitely not a destination hotel but one that people utilize when transiting through San Jose. Like other viewers state, it is in the middle of nowhere but then again San Jose does not seem to really have a central area. The best thing...

We stayed here on two separate occassions on our visit to Costa Rica. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and the internet was included in the price (others have already mentioned the fantastic breakfast!) We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel for a budget option on San Jose. However, be aware there are very few...

Unique and charming hotel in San Jose. Comfortable room with plenty of hot water, satellite TV, and garden view. Large and impressive buffet breakfast. Area is quiet, but further away from the city center. The hotel is in a residential area. I did, as a single woman, feel safe at the hotel and walking around the area, during the day...

So as everyone else says, come to San Jose to start and end your trip to costa rica. Aranjuez Hotel got great reviews on tripadvisor so we figured why not. Upon arrival to san jose we quickly realized aranjuez was not 'in the heart of it all.' The person who greeted us told us to get dinner at a nearby...

The hotel is the best value in town. You'd typically pay at least 50% more for that level of rooms. The most famous thing about this hotel is its breakfast. That breakfast has everything! Delicious pastry, home-made breads, hot dishes, cold dishes, cheese, salad, fruits, deserts... and most importantly, an egg kitchen! You can order you eggs cooked in whatever...

We have stayed at Hotel Aranjuez at least two times during our trips to Costa Rica. They are very reasonable, rooms are average and the walls are a little thin, but overall the price, service and especially the awesome breakfast is well worth the stay. They have a tour desk and will exchange currency. Close to restaurants at El Pueblo. Staff...

I simply could not trash this place enough, Now I know why they demand cash in full when you check in, so that one has no recourse in case of dissatisfaction. I have been here three weeks and have had my room cleaned twice and both those times I had to demand it.I have been made to feel as though...

This place is probably the best midrange hotel in San José, and it is cheaper and much nicer than some supposedly budget options. I had the opportunity to stay in two other places in the city: Hotel Alfie - which was acceptable - and Hostal Pangea, which was terrible (read my review). Hotel Aranjuez combines a couple of features that...
