This hotel was filled with art and cool vibes. Walking distance to most of the places in downtown we were going to. Nice restaurant upstairs, good breakfast, and decent rooms. They had shuttle service to and from airport as well.

We had two nights here at the beginning of a two week road trip around Costa Rica. The hotel is nice and central, staff are friendly and the breakfasts excellent. Our room was fairly basic, certainly one of the older standard ones, hence the 4* rating. The rooftop terrace was excellent, a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat. The communal areas could do with some extra seating, but generally it was clean and well presented.

Like many others were booked by travel agent for a one night stay on arrival. Only had a standard room which was adequate, nothing special. However there was a n unpleasant pervading smell in the allocated room that meant we were unhappy with it. It was changed without much fuss but to a smaller room. Only one night so no big deal. Breakfast was available early before taking coach to next stop and was good.

I stayed one night in this great hotel based in the heart of San Jose. Walking distance to everything you want to see in the city - markets, main shopping street, museums, main tourist buildings. We were upgraded straight away to a very spacious / basic room when we checked in which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was good and they had a chef making eggs to order. The rooftop bar/restaurant has wonderful views of the city and the service was excellent (food looked good too although we only had cocktails). Would recommend to stay here if you have a night / a few nights in the city

On ariival via the car park we were thinking .. oh no where are we staying .. but as soon as we got inside we immediately realised what a lovely hotel this is. We stayed there as part of the Tui Grand Tour. Reception is very welcoming and check in was quick and efficient. They have menus at reception which is helpful and please book a table for the restaurant when checking in if you plan to eat there as it gets busy quickly. Our room was large, pretty with a nice bathroom. The hotel has quite a contemporary atmosphere. We had dinner and drinks at the garden restaurant. The wines are very nice, the staff friendly and the food excellent. As a gluten free vegetarian I had a good choice. It is so pretty and the open air garden terrace has lovely views of San Jose at sunset. This was a great hotel to stay in at the end of the Grand Tour.
