We had only 1 night at the San Jose Radisson before starting our tour. It was a pleasant stay and the food and breakfast were good. The gym and pool were very nice. Gym has no ac but very well equipped and has a water bottle refilling station

Hotel's Favorite
Always a good experience staying at the Radisson San Jose Costa Rica. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is always clean and the atmosphere is always calm. The breakfast buffet is always yummy and we can even order a la carte. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is always nice to feel like we're in our second home when we stay here because the people make us feel like we are home.

A beautiful hotel. Exceptionally clean rooms, and comfortable beds. Spacious, however, my room had no balcony or fridge. I would have benefitted from having both, so its worth asking about this in advance. The staff are warm and friendly and go over and beyond to assist. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk to the town centre and central market, so a really good location if you like shopping for souvenirs etc. If you plan to do a lot of excursions, (which cost around $175 pp), then it is pointless booking 'all-inclusive' as lunch and dinner are usually included in the tour packages. If you plan to stay at the hotel most days, then all-inclusive is advisable.

Our stay at the Radisson was wonderful. It tends to be stressful traveling with young kids but our stay at the Radisson was relaxing and fun. Angie at reception was very helpful and made our stay very smooth. Pablo put together amazing trips and excursions for us. Alonso’s attention to detail and customer service is outstanding. Mercedes brightened up the room and made you feel seen and heard. This team works very well together and made us feel welcome. I cannot say enough good things about this place and team. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our stay special.

Very nice hotel. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable and huge room. Central location. The only downside was that the coffee and water weren't replaced regularly. . Even when we asked. But otherwise, it was a fantastic room, good breakfast buffet, very nice bar and restaurant.

Our stay at Radisson was good, with friendly staff who helped us pick a place for dinner for our one night in San Jose, and spacious, comfy rooms. The one thing I would say though is that the breakfast is not up to what I would consider Radisson standards, but the staff are nice and I managed to get a couple of fried eggs separately from the kitchen. If you can, try and eat breakfast elsewhere!

Somehow friendly stuff in very disgusting bugs all over the room. Breakfast was good and friendly bartenders at the bar at evening. Will serve you good drinks. Burger was alright. I would definitely not stay ther again. When I told front desk about bugs, they didn’t seems like they care since they probably already know there is a whole hotel full of them

Beautiful hotel, super staff, clean, lovely courtyard. Great buffet breakfast, can eat inside or in courtyard. Food from lobby bar also delicious. Bar was closing but kindly made us food when we arrived.

The location was safe. Staff was friendly. The room was clean with a great view. The included breakfast was hot with lots of choices. We only stayed one night but we would stay here again. Great value for a very good price. Parking was underground and easily accessible.

Everyone I encountered at the front desk spoke English. I stayed there two nights a couple weeks apart. The first time I was one floor up on the backside of the hotel, resulting in a quiet experience after a neighboring room turned off their TV. The second night I was just down the hallway from the lobby; this was much noisier as people walked down the corridor laughing and talking loudly late at night (there is no carpeting to deaden the sound). If you want a quiet stay insist on being assigned a tranquil section of the hotel. Some English channels could be found on the TV; I watched a recent Jurassic Park movie. The free breakfast buffet was the most extensive I encountered in the country - very tasty and satisfying. The pool area was nicely designed and inviting.
