It's a very basic old hotel that's a place to lay your head and sleep. They do have a breakfast in the morning located in an out building behind the hotel. They do not have air conditioning located in each room. But they do vent each room into the hallway that allows for one air conditioning unit to cool each...

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and it was a very good low cost option for four traveling students. The staff were fantastic and the restaurant food was amazing. The hotels location was perfect! Just outside from the busy city but it was also only a 20 minute walk to get to the national theatre and the museums...

We've stayed here a few times in the past, (see my past review) I will update. Hotel Vesuvio is a small place, the rooms are not all that big, but adequate. They are though, very neat and clean. The primary reason we first stayed here, was because they are 'pet friendly ', and we were traveling with our cat. For...

We found this hotel to be quaint and clean. The rooms were small but it was suitable for a short stay. I would not recommend this place for any duration. We could hear every other person in the hotel and the constantly opened windows allowed the birds outside to wake us up. It should be mentioned, lots of Costa Rican...

My wife and I needed to catch a morning flight. We were traveling with our cat and we were looking for a hotel that accepts pets. Although there is an additional $20 fee for a pet. We found this hotel quite accommodating.

The hotel is in a good location and it is safe and easy to walk to the centre. There are a couple of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. However, the room we had was very basic. The lighting was dull. The bathroom was very small- the toilet bowl very very close to the basin so had to manoeuvre past...

Vesuvio has a very helpful and nice staff. Still only one of them was able to tell the right station to Quepos. Guy in the restaurant was really nice too, unfortunatly food wasnt good. I ate fish and got diarhea and we waited food for ages.

Nice restaurant, quiet, clean. Good array of food choices. Medium range prices.Recommend it and would go back. Fish was good, not overcooked. Chicken in blackberry sauce was most delicious. Good sized portions, did not have room for dessert.
