Stayed in the hotel for two nights and found it comfortable and front desk staff helpful.Unfortunately, for me ,on the third night they gave my room away. I went to the Arenal volcano on a day trip returning at 11 Pm and the front desk tells me there are no rooms and that they gave the room I reserved to...

The hotel was quiet in the middle of a busy area! It is also one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. We were tired so we ate in the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed it. The Chinese food was not only very fairly priced, but also the portions were very generous! It is difficult to find decent Chinese food...

We spent a night here with family prior to a cruise. It is about a forty minute taxi ride from the international airport and in an urban neighborhood. Helpful and friendly staff was a real plus - suggestioned eating options and arranged for a van to transport the six of us to the airport so we could meet our cruise...

Our stay at the Isla Verde Hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. They arranged our transportation to downtown and other tourist sites and arranged our transportation to the airport as well. We had two delightful meals at the in house Asian restaurant. The food was very tasty and affordable and the atmosphere was...

We stayed in Isla Verde the first night we arrived to San Jose, CR. Clean room, a little noisy since it was close to the main road. On the way back from Santa Teresa, CR we stayed two more nights (different room). Bryan, I have to say was very, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, everyone is friendly and...

This hotel is a little off the beaten track and not near clubs and night life but it suited our needs perfectly. We took a trip on the city bus from the hotel to Mercado Central (Central market) and the gold museum as bus stop was just outside the hotel. There is a sandwich place, pizza and two supermarkets at...

The Isla Verde is an older hotel but they keep it clean and it's location is convenient to downtown San Jose and Escuz. The restaurant in the hotel is no bad either. Plus it's fairly priced. The furnishings are sparse but adequate.

While it may have been closer to more food options if the hotel was located downtown, I appreciated so much the value I received for the price that I paid, especially when I checked in to find that as a Christmas gift my room had been upgraded! The hotel is modernly redone and the furniture in the rooms so comfortable....

We stayed in a deluxe room for 2 nights. This room was our least favorite out of all the hotels in Costa Rica where we stayed, but it provided what we needed for our short 2 night stay. The first night they gave us a room on the 1st floor which was very basic and the bathroom had a shower...

Whilst the hotel is not really in a great part of SJ for local restaurants, it's great value and extremely clean and well looked after. The staff at the front desk are really helpful and very professional and a credit to the hotel owners. The hotel restaurant is Chinese with no local options which is weird. Breakfast is ok but...
