Everything you can imagine about the view high in the hills is true. It is beautiful! The surrounding property is lush, and has a feeling of being "local". My taxi driver said he knew where the hotel was located, yet he could not find it. After asking several (5 or 6) people parked, working or walking in the neighborhood where...

Great price, great views, great service. It isnt a high quality hotel, but if you love nature and want to get in touch with the culture, its a great choice. It shows you costa rica for what it really is and I recommend it if you travel for a learning experience.

Love the owners, love the view! However, I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a high end experience. I love it because I'm a very simple person, a nature lover, & I just like to appreciate Costa Rica for what it really is. In my opinion, it's a better experience than a high end resort because...

My Costa Rican girfriend called to Hotel Paradise in the morning to confirm our reservation, a lady called Beatriz Ortiz picked up the phone and she was really rude with my girlfriend, Beatriz Ortiz told her that she cannot give her any information about our reservation because the reservation was under my name, and my girlfriend told her that she...

My husband and I stay here every time we are in San Jose. The view of San Jose simply cannot be beat, especially at night. The hotel is situated high up on a hill with fresh air and a nice cool breeze. The grounds are surrounded by a fence and there is 24 hour security, making it feel very safe....

This hotel was 30$ a night and 50$ a night for the view that overlooks San Jose from the top of the hill. It has the most amazing view because of its height in the mountain and at night you can see the whole city lit up beneath you. Breakfast is included and so is wifi and also.....you get free...

The staff is very friendly and helpful--I planned a lot of day trips with their help and advice, and my son and I had a great time. The hotel is a ways up on the mountain on the southwest side of town, and not near the airport or the city center. For the money, you can't beat it--it has a...

We stayed here 3 nights and it was perfect. Nice and quiet, beautiful views everywhere you looked! The area is quiet but there are a few resturaunts within walking distance, and the bus to the city is just down the road. It was cheap and easy to take to and from the city. Our room was nice and clean, breakfast...

The lights of the entire San Jose region will sparkle below you at night when you stay in this hotel up in the hills above Escazu. The place is set up nicely with the balcony rooms offering quite expansive views. Many rooms have buildings in the way of the views or they don't have views so make sure to get...
