We stayed at Villas Tranquilas for 8 days over Christmas and New Years, 2008. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The townhouse itself is clean, modern and well supplied with the things we needed and wanted. On those evenings when we cooked, the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Kathy and her staff were there everyday to see to our...

This is a fantastic place to stay near Quepos without being in the town. The villas are large and VERY clean indeed. The daily maid service ensures this. The villas offer first hand experience of the rainforest and we frequently saw titi monkeys, morpho butterflies and a wide variety of colourful birds from one of the 4 open patios and...

It is of the beaten path, and at first glance ,you might be discouraged. Don't be! Here you will find all the comforts of home. These are new...

The units are pretty much exactly as shown on their website (www.villastranquilas.com), and we found the amenities were everything we needed for our stay. As mentioned in other reviews, Villas Tranquilas seems a...

I was there for the grand opening in Dec 2006 with my family and we were very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating and nice. I had recently came back from Quepos and a stay at Villas Tranquilas. It was my first trip to Costa Rica and the experience was excellent. Because the Villas are new and information scarce I wanted to submit a review. I traveled with 3 friends who had also never been to Costa Rica. Our main reasons for going were to...

Our trip to Quepos, Costa Rica was great. We went there mainly for a fishing experience of a lifetime. Quepos, on the Central Pacific Coast, is the capital for excellent sailfish in Feb. We stayed at the Villas Tranquilas in Feb 07. Our time there was great. We did not go to Quepos to have all the comforts of home....
