I was there enjoying my holidays and is a nice place for resting, staff is friendly and gives really good advices for activities and places for meals. I do not like the local visitors in the swimming pool during the happy hour, I consider since I am paying for a long stay, I deserve PRIVACY, visitors are taking sunchairs and... More

As a gay couple my husband and I wanted a vacation where we could completely relax in a safe fun relaxing environment. We travel frequently and know the risks of staying at an unknown place. We were completely surprised at the service, views and close proximity to everything we needed. Villa Roca's staff went overboard to meet our needs. Consequently, we'll... More

Just got back from an adventure trip to Costa Rica and stayed here for three days/nights. Located high atop the hills this is a gay owned and operated hotel/resort very much in the style of Santorini. Not sure how many rooms there are but they are on multi split levels. About mid-way down the hill is the bar/breakfast area/infinity pool/hot... More

This stay suddenly happened. We were some few friends going to the beach they already had a booking so then we asked if they had extra rooms which they had. We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were not bad clean and had the basic amenities. The outdoors also not bad and the service of the staff was actually very good.... More

Villa Roca was great an incredible experience. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best. Very friendly people. Rooms have awesome views. The pools and jacuzzi are perfect and open 24 hours. Super accommodating. Definitely going back to stay at Villa Roca again. Their breakfast is included in the price and it's a full... More

This was such a brilliant and friendly place. Great pool with amazing views. The staff was incredibly welcoming and were OK if you brought a friend over. Rooms are nice and light with good balconies with again amazing views. Highly recommended

Although this is a gay resort my boyfriend and I were welcomed, coddled and simply cared for in so many ways. The rooms offer stunning Pacific Ocean views, are reasonable priced and the amenities included in the price make this a true value priced place to lay your head. 2 hot tubs, an inffinity pool, a bar and the best... Liked the area, was driving by, stopped and asked if there were any rooms available. We were informed it was a gay hotel, but we were more than welcome to stay. 1 night, 2 nights, turned into 3 nights, we didn't want to leave. Rooms at pool level have completely private balconies and beautiful views. The rooms were spotless, very... More

This moderately priced hotel is one of the best values in the Manuel Antonio area. The staff was very helpful though the process of booking a room, arranging transportation from the airport, and whenever we had questions about tours or restaurants. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and you can see many of the plants and animals Costa... More

This is a small gay property. The staff is great and always there to answer any questions. The pool is open all day/night. This place is surrounded by greenery and its very private. Mostly gay male guest. The a/c gets very cold and bed are ok. The pool its clothing optional. FYI not that many clubs around the area.
