I stayed at El Baile for 3 nights last month when my friends and I were traveling around Costa Rica. The hostel is located right in the middle of Manuel Antonio, steps from the local Super Joseth market and easy walking distance to the bus stop, various restaurants and bars, the beaches, and the National Park. Our hostel room was...

This place is amazing. The view is phenomenal and its more quiet and a little bit away from all the crowds. The owner was nice and we paid less here than at a hostel. Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I stayed at El Baile de la Iguana for 3 nights in Feb/2013. We loved it! David, the administrator at the hotel, did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. He gave us information about touring the national park and he arranged our shuttle back to San Jose. He was wonderful about practising Spanish with me,...

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days in February 2013. Our room was very nice, comfortable and the nightly observations of geckos was an added bonus. Our room was cleaned daily and we enjoyed the use of the towels in the bathroom. The shower stall was larger than typical Canadian shower stalls, which served me...

We were three girls staying with our mums in an "fully equiped apartment" at La bailde de la iguana. The view from our window was amazing and the pool is really nice as well BUT those things were kind of the only good things with this place though. -The apartment were dirty when we got there so we had to...

The apartments are well equipped and have nice table and chairs on a balcony outside with good views over the ocean. The staff were friendly and have helpful advice and suggestions. The bus stop for the national park and beach was nearby and it is right next door to the supermarket, but there are places right next to the national...

“Higher floors have a better view and are away from the street, but are more for those travelers who plan to have an extended stay. Davíd offered us a different room if we decided to stay longer, but it didn't matter too much to my group where we slept, when the overall experience of meeting people and seeing places was more important to us.”
