I ended up finding Pura Vida after 3 other hostel stays in the area. This place is perfect for the solo traveler, couples traveling, or a group. The owner, Andres is such an amazing dude. He was extremely accommodating and was more than happy to help me find things to do, places to eat, ect. It's easily walking distance to... More

We stayed in this hostel for four nights, and Leanne is literally the best hostel girl I've met! (On my 5-month trip) For example, we were chilling on the couch and I asked her what the best restaurant around was, and she got up, went inside and got back with a paper and pencil and drew me a map of... My sister and I stayed there for three nights and have spent a very good times, enjoying the terrasse with Lean, talking about food France. For the very low price, this hostel is perfect, clean and well located. I will recommend it to anyone who would like to come to quepos and visit the Manuel Antonio national park. For those... More

We stopped in Manuel Antonio for only one night and we ended up there for 6 days! There was so much to do and the staff were so amazingly helpful and friendly - it felt like home. The Australian girl could not do enough for us.. She was so friendly and helped us discover the real Quepos and Manuel Antonio...... More

The hostel itself is nice, clean and cheap which is all you need. There are a lot better hostels actually in manuel Antonio which is where there is a lot more going on. Quesop its self hasn't got a lot going on you could see and explore in less than a couple of hours. Another reason not to stay is... More

Hi Mark, I'm Andres Hostel owner. I am very surprised with your comment. I have 2 women in my hostel in reception, these two women are incredibly great, always with a smile on their face, kindly helping each person in my hostel. I do not know the reason for your comment, really very surprised, because I'm pretty sure none of... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and have zero complaints! Leanne and nuria were always accessible, helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, affordable, and cool. Fans in each space kept you comfortable and the common areas were great for meeting new people! The kitchen is huge and even has 2 stoves to work with. This is soooo helpful when it's... More

The place has its own amazing picturesque soul. Since you walk in you can feel the good vibe and everyone greets you with a smile. All the staff is always willing to help and give you all the information you need with the best attitude. At night we gather in the common area and played all kind of board games... More

I stayed at this hostel in one of the private rooms and was pretty disappointed with the level of cleanliness. There were critters all over the room, those didn't bother me too much but what did was there were some gnarly bed bugs on my bed! The amount of money I paid for this place was stupid. The staff were... More

Hi Kaitlyn I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay here. Unfortunatley we are in the middle of the rainforest and are unable to keep all the bugs away although I have checked your room and I can assure you there are no bed bugs. Unfortunately if there is any food in the room the critters do come... More

We booke the perfect hostel - we felt so comfortable that we added two nights. The owner and the staff are very friendly and make your stay unique. The hostel is located right next to a bus station so you can get around very easily. Quepos is only a 5-10 minutes walk away. We can only recomend this place!

Had a great stay at Pura Vida Mini Hostel. Location is 5-10 minute walk from quepos so only a short walk to get to restaurants, ATM's and the larger supermarkets. Also across the road from the bus to Manuel Antonio/Quepos it's easy to get around. Rooms are basic but comfortable with plenty of fans. They have a nice common area,... More
