My friend and I stayed here last week for 3 nights after we hiked out of Corcovado. We had the bungalo at the end of the property which was terrific and quiet. Besides having more than enough room for 2 guys, the large balcony overlooking the water was perfect for having coffee in the morning and a cerveza in the...

We had lovely basic room. Airy with fans and air con. Great location by the beach, kayaks and bikes are free (but you can't book them so get in there quick). friendly with helpful staff. price is very good for what you get. only 2 minutes walk to a bar, PO and bakery and a couple more into town. turn...

Friendly management, nice views on the bay, free kayaks, wifi and all that for a good price: This is a place I would recommend to my friends before and after their trip to corcovado! The top rooms have a nice balcony with great views.

Really quaint little water front cabins with a great view of Golfe Dulce. Beautiful pool and lush setting right on the edge of town. Very short walk to all the action in little Puerta Jeminez. John and the crew make you feel right at home with a very nice warm atmosphere. The lush vegetation of the area is all around...

We only got to stay here for one night and had a great experience. We stayed in the lower Rancho room, which has a/c, so you can get a good night's sleep. The room was beautiful and spotless. The balcony overlooks the water. Great views. From the terrace we saw lots of macaws and other birds. I wish we could...

This is a reliable retreat if you are staying a night or basing your holiday in this wonderful laid back town. It's on the waters edge, close to the bakery, pier, police station, post office and other useful amenities. This is not a luxury vacation spot but it has its own charm. The free wifi, bikes and kayaks are a...

Leah and Juan Carlos were super front desk people who make you feel right at home. Leah set me up with a Osa Palmas canopy tours which was excellent and JC dropped me off at the bus stop going beyond the call of duty. Only concern is that they are working all over the property and sometime left the desk...

Great view of the Gulf of Dulce, beautiful rooms, and many things to do from biking around town, kayaking, spending time at the pool or touring the gulf by boat. We seen a lot of animals from birds to whales! Wow, what a way to spend a day on the water. This a safe, beautiful place to stay and well...

Stayed there just last week for 4 nights. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free bikes really came in handy to tour town and pick up provisions. Rm #9 by pool is very small but we survived in tight quarters. (Book early - this is a popular place!) Thanks, all. Enjoyed meeting other friendly guests and sharing OSA stories. Great birding...

John continues to make improvements on the lodge while offering reasonable rates. His love of the Osa, Golfo Dulce and Puerto Jimenez shines through. The staff is always extremely accomodating and speak excellent English for those with limited Spanish.
