Beautiful and peaceful place. Cozy cabana with fully equipped kitchen. Nice and well maintained garden merges with the rain forest. You can contemplate wildlife (tucans, howler monkeys, colourful birds and butterflies) and glimps of the Pacific Ocean straight from your terrace. Very hospitable host.

We were not impressed with this basic hotel. The showers were the worst of 4 hotels we stayed at, even more rustic hotels. The shower never heats up and its heated by a scary electrical wire that hooks into the shower head, which is an accident waiting to happen. Its kind of like a bed&breakfast without the welcoming owners and... More

Lovely owners who have planned well for their guests' needs. Begin your rainforest experience here, from which many excursions and activities can be planned. Easy access from the highway, and close to restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and and well-appointed for doing your own meal preparation. The beach is very near, but there is also a pool here, and barbecue... More

Vikki is a most welcoming and helpful host. Beautiful facilities. Fully equipped kitchenette. Private balcony overlooking the jungle. Small but nice pool. Several restaurants in the vicinity. Best to have a car when staying here.

I cannot put into words how incredible my stay here was. It's a small property but has so much to offer. You get to see so much wildlife from your porch (monkies toucans etc) and while walking the private trails. It's very relaxing here. No meals served but dining options are a short distance away, we utilized our outdoor kitchen... More

The Villas de Oros is a perfect place to vacation. You can set on the patio of your room and have coffee while listening to the birds and monkeys. Vikki is so knowledgeable of the area and can tell you where the best beaches are and book your tours to make your vacation memorable.

I am not sure where to start. This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and I was in search of monkeys and a good snapshot of what the country has to offer. I was truly blown away by Villas de Oros. We arrived late in the rain where Vikki was waiting for us, and offered us a beverage on... More

The room was fantastic. You're in jungle with monkeys and many animals. The place is very quiet. The beach is near and very beautiful you can see toucans. Local restaurants are very good and cheap. Just like paradise.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony watching the wildlife in the jungle and your evening wine by the pool under the stars after a long day of local activities and dining. Great location close to beaches and restaurants.
