Outstanding place! The warmth and attention to detail of Lana and the staff there was like none I've encountered in other places. The luxury tents are cute and peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here to get you closer to nature, see some beautiful wildlife and enjoy delicious food 3 meals a day. I very much look forward to going...

My fiance and I were so excited to come to Osa to experience the wildlife that it had to offer. The lodge is a beautiful place literally in the middle of nowhere... which we loved! We had a 4x4 rental vehicle and we knew the roads would be rough... and they were! We were about at our wits end by...

We love getting off the beaten path and so were excited about Luna Lodge's location at the end of the last road on the Osa Peninsula. We couldn't have been happier. The drive down was slow but beautiful. We loved the steep windy road up to the lodge and couldn't believe the beauty once we got there. Not just the...

While we did not stay here, I felt compelled to let other travelers know about my positive experience here. My wife and I had actually intended to hike to a nearby waterfall, but got lost and ended up here. It was a VERY hot day and we were tired and thirsty. The owner was very gracious and welcomed us in,...

We drove to the Osa Peninsula from Colorado and had time to check out many other places. The La Luna is by far the best! It is the most remote, and enveloped in jungle much more than the more expensive ones. At the same time, you experience luxury in very nice cabins, good food, great service, good bar, incredible guides,...

We absolutely loved Luna Lodge. It was the most remote place we have ever stayed….but it was so charming, invigoraing and interesting. We awoke to the sound of birds and monkeys every day. The staff was wonderful…couldn't do enough. They were attentive, accomodating, friendly and provided great information. It was truly an experience that we will never forget. The food...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Secluded in the tropical rain forest bordering Corcovado National Park, Luna Lodge is a unique resort described by many as "...a piece of true paradise". Its appeal is, not only, its natural beauty and environment, where the heliconia hang three feet long, and the howler monkeys wake you in the morning, but also, its ambiance. The owners' passion for the preservation of the forest is ever present, and the attentive courtesy, friendly staff always serve "con mucho gusto... with pleasure". ... more   less
