My mom was selected for the free rice cooker (she went the week before and was called to come back to redeem) so we went with her to pick it up and play the slots for a bit. Turned $6.75 into $1,000 on the quick hits slots. So glad we went. Love the fish tank and the non-smoking area of the casino the best staff and security super friendly. I prefer wind creek Montgomery but Wetumpka is definitely the next best thing. Will be back.

This is a very nice Casino, friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. The view from your room overlooks a river with the town in the background, beautiful view. The food is good with several different places to pick from, I recommend “The Fire” (Resturant).

Hotel Room at $138 a night good. Food at Fire Steakhouse forgetful. Fries terrible and burger poor quality.. Steak undercooked. Waited a long time for kitchen. Service at bar very good! Can't recommend the food. Casino seemed a little sad compared to Las Vegas

My wife and I recently stayed in WindCreek Wetumpka. We travel regularly to casinos and have family that highly recommended we stay while we were in town on a visit. They raved about the customer service. We booked on line with the reservation. When we arrived we ran into Summer at the valet who was amazing. Very happy and a great asset to your company. We got to the front desk and we "didn't" have a reservation. Which was really weird seeing how we booked the trip months ago. I think his name was Johnathon (shift supervisor) who called Finally said he found the reservation. The stay was going wonderful until we looked on our statement the next day and had two separate charges for Windcreek. We reported this issue to Yolanda (front desk clerk). She went in the back and said her supervisor was looking into the issue and could we come back. We were leaving for the day so we agreed. We returned 3 hours later again stopping at the front desk. Yolanda was on lunch and another girl was at the desk. We rexplained the issue and she went into the back came back out 10 minute later with what equated to be a (we didn't charge your card twice). We showed her our online bank statement which showed two charges. After going back and forth she went to the back again and came back with a printout. By this time we called our banked and said that we had indeed got two "authorization" holds on our card from WindCreek. At this time we asked could we see a manager seeing how a manager or supervisor never came out. Johnathon arrived 10minutes later again stating that it wasn't two charges, but he assured us he would look into it. He later contacted us and stated that we had a reservation at Windcreek Attmore that we never cancelled. We explained we had never been to Attmore and would have never made a reservation there to cancel. We were told we had to call Attmore and straighten the issue out with them (which I thought was not customer friendly) instead of spending our day at the pool or more time in the casino we tried calling Attmore. It would have been nice for the staff at Wetumpka to call the staff at another WindCreek hotel to figure out how this could be resolved. I am writing now because no resolution was had. We paid the bill for the hotel we stayed in and a no show fee of $114 for the room at the WindCreek Attmore hotel. What really bothers me about this is not the fact that two hotels based off customer service couldn't figure out how this could be solved but we spent money on your property and was still charged for an error that they made.

When our reservation was made, we were told that we had a $30 Food Credit and $20 First Time Gaming Credit. When we checked in, the person at the counter did not mention this at all and when we asked they did not know anything about it.
After we checked in we went up to our room on the 17th floor. Our keys did not work and we could not get in the room. The valet who was helping us had to go down to the desk and get the keys reprogrammed. When he returned the keys did not work again, I felt real bad for him as he had to go back AGAIN! When he returned, he informed us that he requested maintenance come up to the room to check the door, we then tried to get in the room again and only one of the keys was able to open the door. We entered the room it was warm in the room, we turned on the two a/c units and after two hours only one side of the room was cooling down. During the two hours maintenance arrived and changed the battery of the door lock. They left with the keys only working sometimes! We chalked that up to the computer system and both keys worked sometimes so that was way better than what we started with.
After driving all day, we just ordered pizza for dinner. We went down to the lobby to talk about the credits we were promised, and only because my relatives were employees, calls were made and we received these credits. While this was happening the pizza arrived, when we went upstairs, again we could not get in the room. After going back down to the front desk for now the 4th time about keys one of the employees from the front desk came up with me. Again, the keys did not work at a reliable rate. After about 6 times of them not opening for me and only a couple times for her, she looked at me and asked "What do you want to do?" I think I should be the one asking that question at this point. Well of course nothing happened and when the door opened we went in and she said maintenance would come again to check it out. When we went in the room the front area was still warm but the bed area was cool. (We set it at 60 so the turn it lower response wasnt going to cut it) When maintenance arrived they worked on the door and got it up to a 50% success rate, while this was happening we mentioned the a/c not working good. She opened it up and realized that the freon valve was closed, so the front a/c would have never worked! The funny part was that she mentioned that several other rooms had the same issue and they wondered if the valves were turned off all over the hotel.
Then our son dropped his little toy under the couch and instead of his toy that he grabbed, he grabbed a plastic wrapper about the size that a sleeve of golf balls come in from under the couch. We we looked under the one couch and found other trash that was left in the room. Also, in the nightstand next to the bed in the hole for the light cords, we clearly saw a dirty plastic spoon that was not cleaned out. Then, the cabinet that holds the refrigerator was supposed to be a push cabinet with a magnet, well that did not work and a pen or knife had to be used to access the refrigerator. By this time after driving all day we were beat, so we just slept.
The next day I went down to get the keys reprogrammed again as before we left we tried them with no success. While at the front desk I asked to speak with a manager. When the manager arrived she immediately was directed to another customer who in fact came after I was already waiting for 10 minutes. So in addition to being upset about all the problems we are having in a $250 per night room, now I am getting blown off. I did not want to keep the kids waiting so I told the front desk employee to tell the manager we will be at the pool when she is done. While we are at the pool, the manger (Jennifer) came out to talk to us.
I told her that this is the 5th hotel we have stayed in during our vacation from Japan, and the most expensive and the worst! I proceeded to tell her about the keys, the A/C and the problem with the credits. I paused to give her time to respond and I could tell she was concerned, but at the same time she was towing the company line as well. So I cut her off and proceeded to tell her about all the other problems then proceed to add that at 113am we received a call, and by the time we found the phone they hung up, 2 minutes later they called back and it was "The Grill" and they knew my name and proceeded to state "I heard you wanted room service" nice way to call a room at 115 in the morning. The expression on her face was absolutely priceless! She proceeded to apologize and said she would go report these issues and she what she can do to help. About 30 minutes later, Jennifer came back to the pool, this time with the hotel manager Camille, and she mentioned the issues and that the company does not operate that way and such. She also, made our second night in the hotel free of charge, which was very nice of her. She also, said she called housekeeping and told them to go back to our room and make sure it was very deeply cleaned as she was embarrassed about the dirty spoon and the baby pulling a surprise from under the couch.
Well, we left the pool so the baby can take a nap, when we arrived at the room, of course one of the keys didnt work at all! Once we entered the room, we saw the room was vacuumed and generally cleaned. Once we entered the sitting area we immediately saw the cereal that our son dropped on the floor just at the edge of the couch, so just to check and see how good they cleaned, we looked under the other couch and pulled out a pink beach shoe (flip-flop) and a plastic boot from a babies doll. Then we looked at the nightstand and the dirty spoon was still there! By this point it was just funny at how horrible this place really is. I bring the two shoes down to the pool, where my relatives were waiting for us and showed them the surprises. They were then really embarrassed and called Camille to please come back to the pool area. When she returned, she herself was really embarrassed as I showed her the gifts and also mentioned that the TV in the sitting area hasnt worked all day. She gave me her card and asked for me to call her when the baby woke up and we were leaving so she could get housekeeping to clean again. Once I left she then told my relatives to tell me that any food/drinks that we wanted at the pool for the rest of the day are free along with a poolside cabana if we wanted. After hearing that we decided to go back to the pool.
After leaving the pool we got ready for dinner at the Fire Steakhouse, and if there was one thing that made our stay pleasurable it was the Steakhouse. The staff, the food was completely amazing. In my opinion the hotel needs to have the standards that the Steakhouse has. It was absolutely amazing.
After dinner we decided to try the casino, after a little while we went back up to the room and of course it took about 7 times with the key to get in.
I must finish with the appearance of the hotel is nice and the appearance of the room was very nice, but after the illusion was broken, it was a completely horrible stay and when I return to visit relatives I will likely stay at another hotel and just visit the steakhouse., as I like to play table games not slots.
In closing I would like to thank Camille as she was very nice and helpful. Even though I think with all the issues we had we had we deserved both nights to be free but she did what she could to help us. As of four days later my credit card still has a pending charge for both nights as well.

They do not clean the rooms properly. I found a dirty needle in the bathroom. We called front desk and asked for a manager or supervisor to come to the room and they only sent housekeeping. They took a picture of the needle with their cell phone and then picked it and then walked out. Upon checked out I informed them once again of the incident and was told someone will call or email and still have not heard anything from a manager. Poor management!!

Hotel is very new and is clean and modern(,USB port by the bed for cell phone charging). We went for our anniversary and had a suite on the 18th floor overlooking the river. View was way better than we expected. There were balloons and a card in our room for our anniversary from the hotel. Fire steakhouse was great with a lot of free things that come with the meal ( vegetable dip, bread and a small dessert). Steak was cooked perfect. It's a little pricey but first class service and food. Buffet lunch was excellent and priced very well during the week - under $10 to eat a lot of good food. Desserts were excellent. Staff very friendly in every department.
Casino was full but not too full. I played a lot of slots and the payouts seem to be comparable with Vegas or anywhere else.
Like any other casino there are a lot of smokers and yes it can get bad but really only when someone is sitting next to you - the ventilation seemed to be pretty good. Only suggestion I would make is a non- smoking section on the casino floor.
We are from Atlanta and it's a very easy drive which we hope to do again.

I have stayed at this property more then one time thinking i would give it another chance to improve it has not,the reservation is the worse you show up to check in only to wait over an hour they are trying to find you a room and its never the room you made reservation for.the bathroom mirrors was nasty and the room has bugs crawling everywhere.the customer service is bad.on the gaming floor ordering drinks from the machine takes hours to get I have played over six hours waiting on a cup of coffee that never came I called over a higher staff member to ask her to see what's going on and I still did not get that coffee UNTILL over thirty minutes after she was told.every since they moved into the new casino it is all about how can we get more money from you.they now charge to cash your checks, charge to use your debit card at customer service over seven dollar.please find your self another hobby I will.
