My mom was selected for the free rice cooker (she went the week before and was called to come back to redeem) so we went with her to pick it up and play the slots for a bit. Turned $6.75 into $1,000 on the quick hits slots. So glad we went. Love the fish tank and the non-smoking area of the casino the best staff and security super friendly. I prefer wind creek Montgomery but Wetumpka is definitely the next best thing. Will be back.
I enjoyed this casino, as well as the one in Montgomery, fifteen minutes away. However when I got my first new card, I asked a lot of questions about the new player promise. I read and was told that the promise “promises” that it will reimburse you for what you’ve lost ($75 up to $1000) in free play. This is not exactly the case. Even though I did ask three times, the reality is, that they will promise you something back for your play. In my case, I lost $500 total, and I received $175 in free play, plus a $10 food coupon, plus a free night stay. Maybe the night stay makes up the difference, I don’t know, but I didn’t want a night’s stay. What I really wanted was my money matched, which I thought was the deal, the promise. I should have known it was too good to be true. That’s my fault, I suppose, hence, the 4 star rating anyway. Service was great, games were fun, and drive from Georgia wasn’t that bad. Didn’t stay, just came to play.…
This is a nice casino. They have a beautiful place. BUT their perks suck. They offer online play for free with chances to win tournaments and drawings and even auctions using points you earn while playing. BUT they've chanced their method of figuring out what price you pay using those score points now to the point that it's not even capable nor worth it to try now. Seriously it changes how people will be able to use any form of perk or earn perks. The place itself is nice but if you don't offer perks then you will not get customers who might come with those perk offers like other casinos do in Mississippi and around the country. Sad.
The Valet parking is quite a plus. They treat your car with extreme care. Upon arrival the rooms are always cleaned and ready for me to check in. I have a variety of areas to play filled with all of my favorite games. I enjoy the atmosphere of the people around me. I don't always win but I feel as though I have hit the jackpot by selecting such a wonderful location.
From the moment we checked in and were offered our choice of three toiletries for our bathroom, we were treated very well. They were happy to check us in early and assigned the room just as we had requested, an upper floor far from the elevator which as a bonus offered a spectacular view of the river. The complimentary wi-fi worked seamlessly, and the furnishings seemed almost new. We only stayed one night and didn't try the pool, but it looked well kept also. The site is off the beaten path and a bit of a drive, but well worth it. The casino is rather ordinary and, like other Indian run casinos we have visited, we found to have a disappointing payout. We were new members of the Players Club and offered a return in casino credit for all first time losses up to $1000 to be used on the next visit. …
Wind Creek Casino is a great day out for seniors! The new slots are great and we enjoyed visit Sunday, Jan. 27, and won a little😊😁! The only disappointment was the Buffet😡. Food quality has gone way down since it first opened (no award winning chefs on board anymore!). And unless you are a pig eating 3 platefuls plus dessert, $20 for lunch was ridiculous unless you're serving lobster, Filets and shrimp that day. We used to brag to our Texas fellow travelers that OUR casino still had GREAT food after being open several yrs.!! We will gamble but eat elsewhere!
I have came to WindCreek Wetumpka and had a blast always get to getbonuses and get to play for awhile but WindCreek Atmore is the worst casino ever you can’t play long cause you just push buttons.they don’t care about nothing but getting you out of there broke.i go to Biloxi and get to bonus some.i wish Wetumpka was closer I would go all the time.so this is what I’m trying to say never I mean never go to WindCreek Atmore unless you just want to donate.they keep your changehalf there machines won’t take your cards so you can build up points so you are constantly having to go to find a machine that will take your card.im a regular in Atmore and I’m telling you drive a little longer and go to Biloxi I am.
I have stayed at this location on more than one occasion and every time is a good experience. The rooms are clean and the staff is professional. We always get a room with a view of the Coosa River which is just a few feet from the hotel. The only negative thing to be said would be that the rooms are overpriced for the area and their is no alcohol on Sundays served in the casino.
The casino itself is nice both inside and out. The grounds are kept nice, the pool area is lovely, parking is convenient, the working staff is courteous and helpful. The meal was a bit pricey but good. I was disappointed that I could not find a Hot Shot Machine. I was told they were removed several months ago. There are several new machines in it's place which are not quite as fun while you sit and lose money. Your luck is your luck in the gaming business. The piped in music was good and the AC was not on full blast. Sometimes it is just too cold in Casino's. I was there on a Saturday and they had a band playing for a couple of hours. This was a nice idea and the band played well. That was something else for people to enjoy.
Casino is nice, clean but food is expensives. Have a lot of machines, it’s doeant pay out a lot I put about...we are from Atlanta, people in there seem like low income and I don’t think I ever go back ! Cherokee north Caroline way better!
