Perched up on the hill above the quaint town of Montezuma, this location is a hidden gem. Only minutes to town by car and you are completely surrounded by nature. Looking out from the balconies of the casitas you see only jungle, trees, birds, ocean and sky. It is magical. Our Italian designed casitas are made of wood and have special outdoor kitchens for more opportunities to commune with nature. It is like a retreat up here. Very peaceful. And in minutes you are at the beach frolicking in the waves. We invite you to come stay and join us in enjoying this little piece of paradise.

Detailed Reviews
Clearly the best stay we had during our 3 weeks holidays in Costa Rica. The warm welcoming from Kristina & Bruno, the place which is amazing, quiet, not far from the center of Montezuma with a view on the ocean, the outdoor kitchen, the multiple and colorful birds that are flying through the garden...etc.. Defintely a place to recharge your battery before moving to your next destination.

We arrived to Montezuma after dark. It wasnt the easiest travel as we didnt have car with support on 4 wheels and here you will not find asfalt ;) frankly speaking we were willing to get back to civilization imidietely ;) first nice suprise was a room just simple but very nice... mornig we got a breakfast - fresh fruits, tosted bread some marmolade and very strong coffee. While enjoing mango we found some colibri visiting closest hibiscus bush...and second and some other birds. We started to feel like in a paradise. no more coming back to civilization :) during a day we found lost of fings to do at montezuma - our first ever surfe classes, snurkling trip, quad bikes and much more. Now im swinging in hammock at a balcony enjoing sound of birds, crickets and... monkeys... gosh what a noise. Never before would not even imagine that all those animals can be so loud at sun set:)
I extremly recomend this place to all people who just want to relax far away from a city in a pease and... noise of nature

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Delicias except for the fact that Richard insisted we pay our bill in cash, which was unexpected. We had to spend time driving to/from an ATM in another town since the Montezuma ATM was out of cash.
We enjoyed the remote location because we had a car. There's no AC so the room was quite warm in the late afternoon.

The host is a super nice person and was super accommodating. The room had everything we needed and the cleaning staff came every day to make the bed and make sure we had clean towels and everything. The host brought us breakfast to our room every morning and made sure we were comfortable. We had access to a kitchenette and mini fridge to store some things and they even did some laundry for us without charging an extra fee. Overall it was a great experience.
Only downside: There were just a couple of downsides to staying at this place. We booked the cabin and didn't find out until we checked in that the host expected for us to pay in cash. Since we were staying there for 6 nights that was close to $500 that we didn't have, and that if we would have been told from the beginning we needed to bring, we would have brought with us from the U.S. Instead, we had to find out the ATM in Montezuma has a low limit to how much money you can withdraw per day, so we would have had to keep going back to withdraw money instead of the host simply using the card information I submitted when I made the booking to pay for the room like we thought was the plan. We ended up paying the host using Paypal but had to pay an additional $26 because of the fee Paypal charged. We paid the $26 fee just because we didn't want to have any more issues with the payment but would have much rather not had that hassle.

We stayed at several places during our trip to Costa Rica. Although it was a bit more rugged than the rest, it was one of my most favorite places.Very charming and the location was awesome, just far enough from town to feel completely secluded. Loved having breakfast brought to my room in the mornings. Richard and Randall make a great team.

We spent a free days with my family. Received a great attention from the crew there, especially from Richard, the manager. It's a bit complicated to get there for the first time, you just have to pay attention to the signs. The place is magical, very quite and relaxed.

Its hard to find but also hard to leave. The cabinas are very romantic and you can watch stars from the hammock.
You need a car, that's for sure. It's the key to civilization. Enjoy!
Was one of the best places we stayed at during our trip. We liked it a lot!

This sweet little place is like finding a secret spot that you get to enjoy the tranquility of the hilltop seemingly to yourself. Great location as it is just far enough from the main town and waterfall.
