Perched up on the hill above the quaint town of Montezuma, this location is a hidden gem. Only minutes to town by car and you are completely surrounded by nature. Looking out from the balconies of the casitas you see only jungle, trees, birds, ocean and sky. It is magical. Our Italian designed casitas are made of wood and have special outdoor kitchens for more opportunities to commune with nature. It is like a retreat up here. Very peaceful. And in minutes you are at the beach frolicking in the waves. We invite you to come stay and join us in enjoying this little piece of paradise.

Clearly the best stay we had during our 3 weeks holidays in Costa Rica. The warm welcoming from Kristina & Bruno, the place which is amazing, quiet, not far from the center of Montezuma with a view on the ocean, the outdoor kitchen, the multiple and colorful birds that are flying through the garden...etc.. Defintely a place to recharge your battery before moving to your next destination.

This sweet little place is like finding a secret spot that you get to enjoy the tranquility of the hilltop seemingly to yourself. Great location as it is just far enough from the main town and waterfall.

What a place! We turned up unexpectedly as there was an issue with our previous booking. Fortunately, Richard had a cabin for us to stay in. It was beautifully made up and very clean. There is no air con but with the windows open and fan on, it stays cool enough, it also gives you a break from air con dehydration! The location is amazing with stunning views from our balcony, with hammock. Just make sure you have a 4x4 as the roads in Montezuma are a bit lumpy to say the least. The town is a 10 minute drive, $10 in a taxi each way which is worth it for the exilerating ride! Richard was an incredible host, nothing was too much to ask. He’ll book you a table in restaraunts, taxis and make great suggestions on beaches and places to visit etc all with a smile! Breakfast is lovely too. Fresh fruit, coffee toast and yoghurt brought to your door (we had ours at 7:30ish) to enjoy on your balcony. We thought that the cost was too cheap and paid a bit extra as it is worth so much more than what you pay! Great value! If you’re going to Montezuma, stay here! Richard and his dogs made our Christmas in Costa Rica somthing truly special. He embraces and shares the Pura Vida vibe that Costa Rica is known for. Thank your our incredible stay! By the way, great name.

First of all: Make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle. Otherwise you will neither make your way to Montezuma nor to this beautiful hotel in the middle of the jungle. You need a good Navigation to find this remote place. Be sure to arrive there before it gets dark. Otherwise its quite a challenge :-) The cottages up there are just beautiful. You overlook the jungle and can see the ocean a little back off. Rooms are pretty large and you have a really nice balcony with a hammock, a little kitchen in case you want to prepare your meals by yourself and simply a breathtaking outlook on mother nature. Very tranquil, no noise except of monkeys or birds. But that's what you wanna here when you are in the jungle, right?! The only thing that could have been better was breakfast. Although it is served directly into your room, it was a little loveless and was thus spoiling the overall very good experience a little. However, for those seeking pure nature and a spacious cottages, this is a good choice.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Casa Delicias except for the fact that Richard insisted we pay our bill in cash, which was unexpected. We had to spend time driving to/from an ATM in another town since the Montezuma ATM was out of cash. We enjoyed the remote location because we had a car. There's no AC so the room was quite warm in the late afternoon.

The host is a super nice person and was super accommodating. The room had everything we needed and the cleaning staff came every day to make the bed and make sure we had clean towels and everything. The host brought us breakfast to our room every morning and made sure we were comfortable. We had access to a kitchenette and mini fridge to store some things and they even did some laundry for us without charging an extra fee. Overall it was a great experience. Only downside: There were just a couple of downsides to staying at this place. We booked the cabin and didn't find out until we checked in that the host expected for us to pay in cash. Since we were staying there for 6 nights that was close to $500 that we didn't have, and that if we would have been told from the beginning we needed to bring, we would have brought with us from the U.S. Instead, we had to find out the ATM in Montezuma has a low limit to how much money you can withdraw per day, so we would have had to keep going back to withdraw money instead of the host simply using the card information I submitted when I made the booking to pay for the room like we thought was the plan. We ended up paying the host using Paypal but had to pay an additional $26 because of the fee Paypal charged. We paid the $26 fee just because we didn't want to have any more issues with the payment but would have much rather not had that hassle.

Fancied something small and quick so decided this place looked a good spot in town. I had the nutella crepe which was nice and partner had garlic squid. Overall quite good. Staff were nice and coffee was decent.
