My family and I stayed 3 nights and we all loved the place! The house was perfect, super clean and located in a very quiet place. We also had the chance to see a group of howler monkeys!! I would go back there anytime! The owners were also very nice.

We stayed here for 3 days and wished we’d have been able to stay longer. The bungalows are lovely and nicely spaced so it is private and you are not overlooked. The gardens are nice and they have a realy nice swimming pool. The kitchen was big and equipped enough to allow you to cook and it was clean like the rest of the bungalow. We would’ve liked to walk to the beach but there are actually many places like this in that part of the world that maybe it is not fair to expect. It is quick drive on a wiggly road. Anyhow, book your room here with peace of mind if you are not worried about driving to the town/beaches and back.

This place was the biggest disappointment of our long 2 week trip around Costa Rica. Our cabin was not clean...flies and bugs all over. Not sure bed linens were clean. I would not recommend for anyone unless you are really on a budget.

Casacolores was our home base for 4 nights while we enjoyed Montezuma and surrounding area. Staying in the town would have it's conveniences, but we were glad to come home to the peace and quiet of our jungle cabin at the end of a busy day. Our (violet) cabin gave us everything we needed -- AC, wonderful huge front porch, privacy, comfortable beds and a strong sense of security. We enjoyed our cabin, the beautiful grounds and pool at Casacolores so much that we chose to spend our last day just enjoying all of that. Great decision!

Lovely place to stay. Just far enough from the town of Montezuma to have the best of both, R&R, restaurants, beach and boutiques. Simple, cute cottages equipped for cooking. Free Costa Rican coffee all day. Shady place to chill out by the pool. Great hospitality by the owners who went out of their way to make us comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful place, I highly recommend Casacolores. There is a bus or short taxi ride to town.
