Cool place. Incredible views!! Delicious fish tacos & smoothies. As much tea, coffee, toast & jam as you can eat (if you can get to the toaster!) for breakfast. Good size kitchen & laundry. Great location for the National Park, go early to avoid crowds.

This was my second time to Manuel Antonio. There are about 8 km between the main town, Quepos, and Manuel Antonio (beach and National Park), linked by the main road. Regardless of the traffic, Loma Linda, halfway between both towns, is pretty ideally situated. It is an easy walk downhill to the beach, and there are buses every 15 minutes if...

My husband & I stayed at the Vista Serena for 2 days in Dec, 2014 during our X Mas trip to Costa Rica. The hostel truly lives up to its name and has the most amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. I could have spend my entire vacation sitting on one of the high stools or the hammocks with a...

This was one of my favourite places to stay during a 12-day trip. I think I spent most of my time there on the high stools and counter which faces the Pacific ocean. On the first day, we were upgraded to one of the private rooms in the bungalow for the same price as the four-bed dorms since there were...

I rate this place three stars both for single rooms and dormitory. The view to the ocean and sundown is great, but it is quite far away from de National Park (there are buses every 20 Minutes) and with 60 US a day it was a little expensive for the single room. Next to this place is a very good...

Hostel Vista Serena was my first stay in Costa Rica and it was an incredible place to stay. As soon as I walked in in the morning the staff were incredibly friendly and inviting, informing me about the local places to go as well as inviting me out on a catamaran trip the next day which was a highlight of...

We spent christmas at this little pearl near Manuel Antonio. We had a private bungalow with two bedroms (with AC), a bathroom and a combined livingroom and kitchen perfekt for us six people. The terrace offered us an adorabel view over the pacific and the sunset. The hostel is clean, friendly and relaxed. They offered exellent service and the standard...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hostel is nestled into the heart of the jungle in Manuel Antonio center with a breathtaking ocean and sunset view over the green canopy. From very affordable dormitory bunk beds to slightly more luxurious private rooms with ocean view- we have it all and it all comes with a free continental breakfast in the morning! The common terrace area has hammocks for lounging and reading a book or just taking a snooze amongst the squawks of scarlet macaws and the touch of the ocean breeze. There is also a fully equipped communal kitchen and TV lounge with cable and dvds to watch. The spread out set up of the cabins allows us to be both family friendly and also party friendly, bringing together a unique combo of the two. Just remember at Hostel Vista Serena we host the fun!!
