Our friends recommended this place to stay. We have been to Manuel Antonio before but this resort did not disappoint in the least. The property is large and very lush. Your almost guaranteed to spot a lot of wild life here. We saw iguanas, white face monkeys, titi monkeys, toucans, scarlet macaws and lots of other birds and lizards. On our last day our shuttle driver spotted a 3 toe sloth in the tree above us. I would of never noticed. Our room was amazing! Very large with a full equipped kitchen. A large balcony with a dining table, four chairs, a super comfortable lounge bed and hammock with one of the best views of the pacific ocean and sunset! The private beach the resort has is awesome with lots of lounge seats, umbrellas for shade and great beach service for drinks and food. The waves we're gentle and the water very refreshing. It's a long walk downhill but they have a shuttle anytime you need a lift up. Also you are within walking distance to shops, stores and restaurants but I recommend their onsite restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Hotel's Favorite
This was our 5th stay at Tulemar and each time has been amazing. Over the years we’ve stayed in a variety of different types of villas and they each offer unique benefits. My favorite part of staying at Tulemar is the wildlife that visits daily. The TuleCafe has excellent food and beverages and it’s nice to be able to eat onsite. Be sure to try the Coconut Margarita! Our concierge was Orlando and he did a great job lining up transportation, dinner reservations, recommendations, etc for us. He stayed in touch throughout our stay and was very attentive, but not overbearing. He’s a great guy and went out of his way to make our 25th wedding anniversary special. Thank you for another wonderful stay!!

My family of four stayed in Tulemar Resort for 5 days. It was one of the best vacation places we have stayed. The view was absolutely amazing surrounded by so much green and plants and wildlife, not to mention the blue ocean in the background. We saw many beautiful sunsets from our own deck. The place we stayed had upstairs with a complete kitchen where my husband and I stayed and also downstairs where our two teenager boys had their own place to hang around. The hotel had its own private access to the beach and shuttle service if you didn’t want to walk. It is located in a very convenient place to grocery stores and restaurants. But the best part of the hotel was its staff. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially our concierge, Jean Carlo. He met our every need during our stay in Costa Rica from arranging transportation to recommendations to even getting us bug spray and toothbrush. He made things happen. It was like having a friend you can rely on. He made our trip worry free and such a pleasure! He is one of the main reasons we will certainly come back and stay at Tulemar again in near future. We can’t wait to come back to this paradise!

This place is truly a gem! We took a solo trip with out our kids but will definitely be back with the whole family AND friends! Jean Carlos was proactive and reactive to anything we could possibly want or need. The beach is incredible and the property was full of incredible indigenous wildlife. We saw sloths, several types of monkey, tree cutter ants, agutis, gorgeous birds and lizards. The vistas were incredible, accommodations perfect, and local restaurants have me dreaming of when we can come back! We had no idea what we were getting into but were beyond delighted with the whole experience. Thanks, Jean Carlos and friends for the incredible memories and CAFÉ!

WOW!!! We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The Garden House provided an amazing concierge (Javier) and beautiful views. Javier checked in with us every morning and provided details on all our meals, excursions, and transportation. He helped with anything needed and made sure we were comfortable. We will forever be grateful for his kindness. Myra was also at our house each day to help with cleaning. A whole week of not doing laundry, dishes, or making beds......amazing! She made our home beautiful each day. The animals around are resort were active everyday and we were able to see many happy monkeys, parrots, iguanas, and sloths. The beach was beautiful and had concierge there to serve drinks and provide towels. We visited town (Quepos) and the locals were very friendly. Make sure to try their amazing baked goods. We hope to come back someday!
