This is one of the best places in Costa Rica. Excellent service, personalized attention and a staff that is always available to help at any time. The restaurant has world class food, with dishes modified to the Costa Rican culture, it is a true culinary experience. The rooms are very spacious and all are very close to the pool, Spa and Restaurant. The Spa service is incredible (recommended, it is a must), additionally you have to do the Lapas Tour. This is a recommended place.

We had an amazing time at hotel Gaia. The personnel was on top of our needs. The food was really good, they have vegetarian and vegan options in the menu. They have an excellent tour to their Lapa sanctuary. The views from the restaurant are really good. Moreover the room was really comfortable and greatly equipped. Manuel Antonio is area offer nice restaurants and is close enough to the National Park. The protocol regarding Covid-19 were always followed and you feel safe. Important to mention that my wife and I had a really nice massage in the spa. Looking forward to come back.

Went with my wife looking for some relaxation time and celebrate our wedding anniversary. This place had a great COVID 19 protocol and we really enjoyed our stay. Attention, service and view were some of the things that I really want to highlight. Experience started way before arriving with our personal virtual concierge Krishne, he was always anticipating our needs and reachable through whatsapp for any request or questions. Food and service was always amazing at "La Luna" restaurant. Yendry made each one of our dinners a very pleasant experience and chefs did a great job wowing us with their creations. There were very little guests so we had pretty much all for ourselves, pool view is amazing surrounded by this refreshing view of a mix of mountain forest and the sea. Really recommend this place, hope you can go too and enjoy.

We are Expats & live in the mountains of CR. Husband had cabin fever & needed to Get Out. We chose Gaia because after seeing the movie “After Words” or in CR “The Librarian” before we moved here, we always wanted to go. The movie is about CR. We had a great leisurely 2 night stay & the hotel took all of the sanitary precautions that the country has asked all to do. They gave us masks & plenty of hand sanitizer. We had a fabulous discounted price due to the pandemic, & they even upgraded us to a Suite, which we are grateful for. Gaia was taking this slow time to clean up, paint up, fix up & install hand washing sinks in all the necessary places required by CR. We are an easy going, not high maintenance USA couple and we’re thrilled that Gaia greeted us with open arms and impeccable service. While many businesses are closed & Gaia not being fully staffed, we had excellent personal service and only 2 other guests were there. The hotel is in lush jungle surroundings and not too far from the beach. You do have to get a shuttle to the beach from there but at this time all beaches & parks are closed. We were able to swim in one of their pools. They offered Spa services & etc., to us, but would have to call in their regular employees to do this. We did take advantage of the restaurants breakfast, lunch & dinners that were exceptional! The hotel is about 15yrs old & up a steep hill with lots of stairs so you do get some great tree top views & are able to see a little of the ocean & delightful sunsets. Our suite was spacious & very comfortable with top of the line linens, towels & furniture. Oh, and the bathroom was fantastic. Gaia also has its only reserve with trails that I, the wife, took advantage of. A bit challenging & you do need their guide. They have a huge cage of Scarlet Macaws that they raise & introduce into the wild. All in all, it was a short wonderful stay & Boris, the owner, & his staff were the Best! Thank you for a really nice get-away. We hope to come back in the future.
