Everything our about our stay here was perfect, location was great for going to town and to beach. We saw Julia every morning for breakfast and her brother Hagar every night at dinner. They always went above and beyond to ensure our stay was spectacular. We also indulged in a couples massage, which we agreed it was the best we’ve ever had! I hope we get the opportunity to go back one day!

Wow. I can't say enough about how great this place is. First, the place is away from the main area of MA and Quepos but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. 2nd, the hotel is incredible. Very small but big on service. The service is phenomenal. I just can't say enough how well we were treated by everyone. My family and I were so impressed by all the staff. The views from the restaurant and rooms are phenomenal. But the restaurant here is absolutely incredible. The kitchen is small but they serve up some incredible dishes. The wait staff is by far the best we've ever experienced. I wish I could give this hotel more stars!

This was the BEST hotel accommodation I have ever stayed in! Issimo was beautiful from the moment we checked in. We received complimentary cocktails upon arrival. Our bags were taken up to our room. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and looked even better than the pictures! We initially stayed in the honeymoon suite. We loved our stay at Issimo so much that we stayed an additional two nights. We were then given a penthouse suite that was absolutely incredible! Dinner at the restaurant was an unexpected pleasant surprise. We ate a few nights at the restaurant and we were blown away with how delicious each meal was. Daily breakfast was great as well and it varied from day to day (thanks Luisa for taking such good care of us!). We got a couples massage and we left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff made our visit worthwhile. Everyone was so pleasant, accommodating, and were able to answer any and all of our questions. Special shout out to Luisa and Carlos who were nothing less than exceptional throughout our stay. I am so very pleased with how well the staff treated us throughout our stay. The next time we visit Costa Rica, we will definitely be back at Issimo (maybe for our actual honeymoon? haha)! Thank you all so much for making our visit incredible! …

Julia is the sweetest person. And always service with a smile! We have eaten there several times and is so good. Love the view. Even if you are not a guest the dining room is open to all. We were staying in a villa across the street. The road there is a little tricky.

We happened on this hotel/restaurant on our walk from the Shana Hotel and Condos where we are staying. Our meals and dining experience was top notch thanks to Randall, our waiter. Daniel provided beautiful dinner and dance music to accompany a fantastic view of the setting sun along the Pacific Ocean. Thanks to all for a memorable evening!

We went to Issimo for dinner and to watch the sunset from their wonderful outdoor patio dining room. We were served by a very attentive waiter named Randal, the fantastic Chef Manuel and his su-chef, and entertained by a great guitarist from Peru. We danced the night away under the stars and in sight of the Pacific Ocean. The whole evening was made special by the attentive hotel manager Aiisandro who ensured everything was done to perfection. A magical evening and highly recommended if you are spending time in Manuel Antonio.

We stayed for a week at Issimo Suites. The arrangements were made by my husband directly through Ivana, a concierge at Issimo. She arranged for a driver (Rebeka) to drive us from SJO to Tabacon near Arenal and to Manuel Antonio a few days later. Ivan. We were able to schedule the guided tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park as well as an offshore fishing trip and private catamaran cruise through Ivana and it worked out perfectly. We also rented a car through her. We returned to SJO via Rebeka. The accommodation was wonderful. Our suite was clean and comfortable with Central American flair and the location overlooking the ocean was perfect. We actually saw more wildlife from our balcony than we did at the Park. Early each morning we watched the trees as dozens of squirrel monkeys made their way down toward the cliff side below. They were followed by the capuchins (which are quite rambunctious) and we had a marvelous display when a pair of scarlet macaws spent a long time cavorting on a tree very closeby. We saw the toucans as well, almost daily. I cannot close without mentioning the restaurant. Each morning we were served with a smile by the lovely Julia and the breakfast included delicious fruits as well as hot and substantial offerings. On the mornings we were leaving earlier than normal we were supplied with to go breakfasts. In the evening, we were treated like royalty by the very professional, Randal. I really can’t say enough about his attitude and attention to whatever we wanted. Superior. Issimo Suites is a beautiful and intimate place with a terrific staff who is as well trained as any resort staff we have encountered. Our stay was wonderful!…

Full disclosure. My issue is with the booking process and horrible customer service. I mistakenly made a reservation. Immediately tried calling, but the number they have on the website didn't work. So I immediately send a email, stating that the booking was a mistake and I needed to cancel. They did not respond, but proceeded to charge my credit card in full. I sent a second email a few hours later, still no response. The next day I sent a third email, which they finally responded saying that they did not receive my first two emails, but basically too bad. Stating that I made the reservation and it is 100% unrefundable. My first time trying to contact them was less than a hour after I made the accidental reservation. The GM was just as rude, blaming me, the customer. I will NEVER do business with a company who operates like this. …
