OK. - It's not bungalows anymore - more like a motel. But the plumbing problems have been fixed - lots of very hot water- and the construction is finished so it's quiet. So, if you want to stay right next to the park and the jungle, with iguanas, monkeys and birds wandering through once in a while, this is your...

My family of 4 stayed at this charming small hotel in December. Our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is at the heels of the National Park, so the hotel grounds border the park premises. So we saw deer and other animals that would travel into the hotel grounds frequently--great for the kids; saw a sloth and a monkey....

The only reason to stay in this place is the proximity of Manuel Antonio NP. Yes, you are right in front of the park's gate and you will be the first to buy your ticket (the ticket counter is 25 m away) and to enter at 7 am. But that's it ! For the rest, our room (La Posada Jungle...

Our family stayed here in December. Hotel was located next to Manuel National Park--so can't beat the convenience. We saw deer and monkeys that visited right on the hotel premises. Also the hotel is just a 5 minute stroll to the beach. Our hotel room was recently updated; very clean and tidy. Included free daily breakfast was great. You could...

Couldn't stay this place looks neglected and dirty. Reviews and pictures are misleading Eventually went somewhere else across the street. Also the price is very high for what you are getting. Wouldn't recommend this place to nobody.

The front desk staff oliver and roger very helpful. Made sure they made extra potatoes for my son for breakfast. The toilets do clog up very easily. Do not make the mistake of throwing any bath tissues in it. That is true to all places in CR not just this hotel. Breakfast is good. Avoid buying food from the store...

I returned to La Posada after staying here earlier this year and was pleasantly surprised with all the improvements that had been made. There is now a reception area where you could sit down and talk to concierge. The breakfast changed a bit to a mix of buffet and a la Carte. Great combination and the food is delicious! It's...

I have returned to Manuel Antonio to stay at this hotel for over ten years. I was so disappointed when I returned this Christmas. The ownership had changed and so had the hotel. There are no longer bungalows but rather a two story building housing double the occupancy. The cute themed rooms were no more. Instead I stayed in a...
