Our stay with our 10 month old baby was so lovely! All the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! Andreas, our server in the restaurant made us feel so welcome and special. Helene, our housekeeper, was so respectful of our baby’s nap times and had fun placing our daughters dolls and stuffed animals in funny positions each day. We really really looked forward to seeing what Helene had done with the toys after a day at the beach.
Initially I was looking to book a hotel with ocean view but due to popular peak season was having trouble finding an affordable option with availability. Booked this hotel solely on all the positive reviews and would definitely stay again! The location is great, just a short walk up to the main road (Steep climb but talking .30 mile total distance). The hotel was amazing, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful anytime we had questions or wanted suggestions on different beaches or day trips. Complimentary pool/beach towels and umbrellas provided which was nice. There was a decent free breakfast each morning made to order. We only ate lunch at the hotel one day while by the pool, had the ceviche and ahi tuna wrap and both were amazing! Never ate dinner at the hotel, honestly I felt like the restaurant closed by dinner time but there are TONS of great restaurants very close to the hotel. There is ample free parking. We never even made it to Manuel Antonio National Park as there were so many sloths, monkey's, toucans, and macaws right on the hotel property. Each room has its personal covered balcony and loved sitting out there in the early evenings before heading to dinner. Relaxing listening to the rain and got to see about 20 or so monkey's the one afternoon and also saw sloths climbing up the trees right on the hotel grounds. Hotel has basic mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and just enough kitchen items (wine glasses, coffee cups etc.) to have added conveniences. Beach is a hike, we chose to drive to beach each day as we had a rental car, no issues finding parking at the beach. If you do not have a rental car the beach is a hike from this hotel, but very few hotels are beach front in Manuel Antonio. Hotel very new and nicely furnished, very comfortable, overall would stay here again!…
The staff was excellent including housekeeping and restaurant. The rooms and hotel were very clean. The front desk staff of Emily, Alissa, Gerson were very helpful. Emily went above and beyond from check in to beach suggestions, recommending restaurants (Agua Azul, Mountaintop park, Cafe Milagro, La Luna, and more), setting up private guided Manuel Antonio Park tour, ATV tour, spa visit at sister hotel (she even welcomed us when arrived over there), and lastly arranging for birthday cake and decorations for my wife. Emily knows hospitality. We saw white faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys, southern opossum, Lessons motmot bird and macaws from our balcony. It was the off season and we had the hotel almost to ourselves for the 5 nights we stayed, but that came with having the hotel restaurant and bar not open at night when a drink and pool time would have been nice. Overall, a great time was had and highly recommend.…
I spent my birthday at the Jungle Vista boutique hotel with a friend. The hotel is in an ideal location situated in the Manuel Antonio rainforest. It is also close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Our big balcony looked out into the rainforest and we could see monkeys and a sloth. Such an incredible experience. Our studio was also spacious, modern and very clean. The staff was so kind and helpful. They had my birthday an unforgettable one. Can’t wait to go back.
Amazing service, the employee at the reception is welcoming and kind, always helping with any question, (also about attractions, laundry trips). The room is clean, large and spacious with a view from the room straight to the jungle (we even saw a cute sloth on the tree from our balcony!) In short, a highly recommended place without a doubt for anyone who wants to visit Manuel Antonio
The staff at the hotel was so incredible. They surprised us with a decorated room for our honeymoon. The staff was so pleasant, helpful and professional. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, spacious and included everything we needed for our trip. It was well centrally located. Walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. A quick ten min drive takes you to the Manuel Antonio National Park, downtown Quepos and exclusive beaches. We felt very well accommodated! Also caught amazing clips of a sloth, howling monkey and toucans!
If you want feel like in the jungle but not getting to close to it by entering a lodge this is a very good place: The view from the terraces goes directly to the jungle and you can see monkeys and birds. The rooms are big and nice, the swimming pool clean and the breakfast good. The best thing - apart from the location - is the staff: Very warm welcoming, present all time and especially Alma but also the rest of the team helped us for example with organizing trips. Thanks a lot!
3 different room categories to choose from including kitchenette option. Pool and restaurant onsite. Great cocktails and Best ceviche I had all week! Balconies on every room. Air conditioning and upgraded toiletries.
Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our ten days in CR. Joseph hooked us up with an awesome room and we had sloths and howler monkeys within 10 feet from our balcony. Kids loved playing in the swimming pool. Overall I highly recommended this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was exceptional, especially Alissa. They helped us with everything from issues with a tour company to reservations and boxed breakfast when we had an early morning. Our room was looking out into the trees where we saw the monkeys playing most every day. The wifi was having issues so it was not consistent but that was a very minor thing as we were out exploring most of the time. We would definitely come back here.
