I loved my stay here! I've stayed at many hostels around the world, and this was one of the best! They are incredibly helpful and nice, especially with helping you plan your days, excursions, etc. I would definitely recommend this hostel! -Mallory

Spacious, loved the swings at the top, but we were dissapointed with the wi fi we couldnt get it anywhere in our room! Also it was soo hot and no a/c and the water in the shower was freezing, i guess thats their way of waking us up and making sure we make it to breakfast. Oh and there was... More

So the room was fun. It was a private room on several levels with a view over the sea. It was clean enough, but clearly the cleaners couldnt reach very high as there was lizard poo higher up on the tiles in the bathroom. But overall, bits you come into contact with were clean enough. They emailed 3 days prior... More

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights. It's a beautiful place to stay with large rooms and a spiral staircase that leads up to the upper patio which has swings. The reception area is nice and open with a lot of couches and several hammocks. The only one thing that could've been better were the cleanliness of the... More

Plinio is definitely one of the nicest places to stay in Manuel Antonio! Upon entering the hostel you can tell everything has been designed with love for details! The owner and the staff make you feel very welcome - we had a wonderful time in the Plinio! Also the hostel is located in close distance to the nice beaches &... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. It was a great hostel experience. Friendly and helpful bilingual staff willing and able to assist with any needs. We booked a private room and were shocked to find that it was a three-floor massive setup -- we definitely loved all the space :) Only downside is that... More

Hostel Plinio is super chill and the facilities are good and the staff is helpful. It's a short cab ride from the Quepos bus stop and definitely doable as a 15-minute hike from same if you're backpacking and don't mind the heat. In all honesty, I'm just trying to fill out 200 characters so I can post this photo of... More

Amazing place to stay. Super cheap and really beautiful surroundings. The staff were very professional, friendly and eager to provide information. The location is not in the tourist hubbub by the beach/national park area but a bus passes regularly in each direction so you just hop on and off as you please- very accessible.

Originaly booked 3 nights but ended up extending. Very chilled, with lots of spots to relax. Staff is very friendly and helpful - tried to get a permit to Cerro Chirripo as the process changed and it was quite a hassle - really appreciated all their help! They clean dorms and the bathrooms every day (sadly not common everywhere). Felt... More

One of the top hostels I've ever been to! The crew is absolutely amazing and will make your stay as comfortable and engaging as possible. Lots of added value for what you pay like the pool, being able to ask for food at the hotel, and a short walk to Quepos (in case you need something). Rooms are really nice,... More
