Lovely garden hillside setting, a million stairs to the "best room" with a great ocean view (far away), but we couldn't sleep - traffic noise as engines revved outside trying to make the steep curve on the road. That finally got quiet after 10 pm. Then the rooster at the house behind the hotel started crowing at 1 a.m. And... More

Terrible hotel. Advertised as a luxury hotel but in reality it is a BED AND BREAKFAST with over one million steps to get to your room. Rooms smelled and need to be upgraded. In reality what hotel room does not have a telephone or television? This was the first in all my years traveling. Would never come back.

You can save some money & not bother with the sunset cruise if you were considering it. There's a balcony surrounding the room which allows you the privacy to relax in the majesty of what you'll witness as the sun goes down. The room itself is clean, spacious, with a high ceiling, wooden furniture, a comfortable double bed, and panoramic... More

La Colina was an absolutely gorgeous place. Be ready to walk your luggage up possibly many stairs, but the view is definitely worth it! The staff was extremely helpful from the start. They offered to set up Manuel Antonio park transportation, tour and guide(we had a rented car and did not take them up on this). What we did take... More

We had a great time. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food including the free breakfast was excellent. The staff went out of their way to recommend places and show us how to get there that we could enjoy with our kids without breaking our budget.

Customer service is not good, especially from the manager Esteban. He is not customer oriented at all. The breakfast was terrible, pancakes were not well cooked, it's not worth the value. We preferred to pay for breakfast at another place the second day. The room was clean and comfortable, however the air conditioner did not cool the room enough. There... More

This person did not like anything about Costa Rica. We are a small friendly hotel and all of the staff are happy to help. If you have an under cooked pancake, simply ask we will make you either another pancake or something else. The internet was out all over in Manuel Antonio during this time period due to a severe... This places is in a good location, from the room we had a perfect view but to get to the room there are so many stairs that is not handy at all for little kids or seniors. Also missing to have hand towels. Service ok, breakfast good.

We loved this place. The pizza cooked in the wood stove was excellent. They have a nice pool and awesome view. A bonus was the monkeys swinging above us during breakfast, two of which had little babies!

Location great. Ten minute walk to major shopping precinct. For those that are into it there are luxury and designer brands. Outstanding restaurants. Some of the best food nearby that I've had anywhere around the world. Plenty of banks. I'd seen people criticising the location. That's rubbish. The location is outstanding. All that you'd ever need is within a stone's... More
