We travelled to CR in March and had a wonderful time. While this was my girlfriend's first trip to Costa Rica, it was my fifth time in the country and I could not have been happier. Earlier complaints I have read about this hotel seem to be rediculous. We stayed at this hotel for 9 days and thoroughly enjoyed every...

Villas El Parque - Unit 15 (Upper and lower level) We had a very good time in Costa Rica, it is more beautiful that what we expected, however we found many very inconvenient issues with this property and want to warn everyone thinking to stay there... We arrive at the Villa around 6:30 PM, it was dark already, David (the...

We were looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel near Manual Antonio with views and decent amenities, which Villas El Parque definitely had. However, there were a few downsides to the stay. All in all, it was a mixed bag and I probably won't stay there again if I return to Manuel Antonio. Pros - Large, private balcony high on a...

We found unit 15 at Villas el Parque to be very comfortable, clean with spacious rooms. The hill and ocean view is beautiful from the large balcony. There is a hammock, a large dining room table and lots of cushioned seating on the deck. The kitchen is supplied with utensils for cooking. The bedroom has two queensized? comfortable beds. I...

Not really a hotel but a group of condominiums perched on the side of a mountain. Many are privately owned. If something goes wrong with your condo the owner is responsible for fixing it. Tough to do when they are located in the states. . The hotel provides maid service to all units. Upper level condos have a great view...

We stayed in #15 down, which is privately rented by owner. The price was about $120 per night and we were right at the top of the hill before getting to Manuel Antonio Park. from our balcony we had a gorgeous view of the forest leading down to the Pacific Ocean. We were entertained by watching the birds and moneys...

We checked in with no prior reservations and asked to see the rooms first. There was much fussing over the proper keys -- which comes into plays all too often. Nice location in Manuel Antonio but that is where the good stuff ends for the most part. There are lots of stairs which is an utter pain if you have...

I loved this place. So much so we are buying the unit we stayed in. Not for what it is, but what it could be. This place is in the perfect location if you want to really experience Manuel Antonio. The units are individually owned, so you really need to know which one you are getting. Most can be reserved...

This is the second time I've stayed at Villas El Parque and I WILL be going back. I feel nothing but safe here. There are security gates (with cameras) and a night watchman. Plus they provide closets with a lock and key so you can store your stuff while out. All pathway lights were illuminated during our stay and there...

We rented villa#15 (which is for sale by the way).Upon arriving, no lights at the complex, had to use cell phone lights to get to unit. Found there was no way to secure upstairs villa due to indoor/outdoor screen in shower. People could come across roof of porch and cut screen to villa. Several villas screens were ALREADY cut we...
