The hotel is located on a beach and it's great. Staff helped me to plan my trip to Panama including calling to the bus station and checking all the contitons. I was unlucky enough to get a room with completely bad view. There were gas containers and large kitchen fan (noisy one) outside of the room :-( There are just...

We switched hotels for the last 3 nights of our vacation so we could be closer to the beach. So glad we did! Kids loved it and was so much easier to run back and forth from room when needed. Hotel is your normal beach front hotel, so not fancy but clean and does the job nicely. Also, nice to...

Verdemar is a very good value for money option. This is not a fancy hotel, but it is just fine and according to the price you pay. Positive: -Excellent location in front of a wonderful beach. So you don´t have to worry about your car or stuff, you will be a step away from your room. -Private parking for your...

I was pleasantly surprised with our find on Verde Mar! The location was ideal for us! The room was clean. It wasn't overly large, but it has a little kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a fridge. A/C worked GREAT! Each room door is hand carved. They're all a bit different and beautiful. There are nice chairs outside...

It's not like the pics on their website. Very basic rooms and not as large as expected. A kitchenette - without a hot plate or coffee filters. But very clean, has a decent sized bathroom and a large walk in closet. And great staff at the front desk who are friendly, eager to serve, and very helpful. The best part...

I stayed here four days, and I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was warm, genuinely friendly, and very helpful. It really is right on the beach, which made for a excellent sunsets and lots of fun. It is within easy walking distance of the national park (Manuel Antonio National Park). My room was clean and comfortable and had excellent...

This hotel has a great location right off the beach. Staff is friendly, and the place is tidy. This was a good value. That being said, it is very dated, and the beds are not comfortable. I like to sleep on my side sometimes and I woke up most nights with half my hand and arm numb from losing circulation....

Starting with a positive - the staff are not a problem here, what they have to work with is. The price I received for the room was very reasonable and communication via email prior to our stay was good. I was not expecting luxury, more of a place for us to lay our heads but I was kind of hoping...

Good stuff: Best: Loved our room's (#208) quieter location on the end closest to the beach with very little sound from the road and best patio view and sound of the surf through the trees. I enjoyed walking the beach, butterflies in the canopy, watching families on this quieter part of the beach and the gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed the...

What I liked: walk to the beach, close to Manuel Antonio center, basic restaurant at hotel as well as at beach entrance, price was reasonable for this location, AC worked well; Negatives: tiny cramped bathroom, no bathroom counter space, weak shower, no windows that open, ocean view was obstructed by broken/messy patio furniture, room dimly lit, and sofa in room...
