Great location, amazing wildlife, good food at the resort and local restaurants close by... Beautiful grounds and beach... Freddy was awesome taking care of every detail for us!!! Highly recommend him.... Great memories and hope to go back soon!!
A group of 4 of us stayed in one of the 2 bedroom casas and it was beautiful! Our view was spectacular, the casa was clean, and there was more than enough room for all of us. Our concierge, Alex, was great and helped us with our excursions and got maintenance immediately when our jacuzzi stopped working. I had the best time and cannot wait to come back. I loved the food, wildlife, people, and the beach. I cannot think of one complaint! Stay at Tulemar, you will not be disappointed, I promise!
Our 40th Anniversary trip in our Tulemar Villa was everything we hoped for and more. Fabio was helpful and informative with our reservation and excursion planning. During our stay, Alex was a constant source of essential information and ideas for making the most of our experience. We'll b e forever thankful for Alex's help arranging prompt, excellent, in-room healthcare during a brief illness. Some of our highlights were the onsite Sloth Walk, Night Jungle Tour and Manuel Antonio Park tour. Besides the incredibly beautiful villa, we thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking scenery, great food, and luxurious private beach. Despite being at full capacity, Tulemar never felt crowded at all. To a person, the Tulemar staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. We honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect trip full of beautiful nature, wonderful people, and joyful new memories. …
Everyone at Tulemar is very kind and always works so hard to make sure you have a great stay. The view from our villa is gorgeous, the beach is very fun and beautiful, and the Tule Cafe is also great. The pools are amazing and the area is just amazing!
We travelled with our 4 adult children to Tulemar Resort between Christmas and New Year. It was a very memorable experience. The resort is perched on a hillside filled with three types of monkeys, sloths, iguanas, toucans, macaws, huge butterflies, beautiful plants, and so much more. The resort has three pools, one of which is adult only. I made a point of going into the pool after the beach daily, and always had it to myself. The beach is great. Nice body surfing waves, and any amenity that you would want. The customer service was the highest and most consistent we've experienced. Everyone was so friendly, and all of our needs were met by our wonderful concierge, Orlando, who checked in with me 2 times a day, and frequently would find us at the beach to deliver updated information. The food at Tulemar is excellent quality. Very fresh, and nice options. We had a private chef prepare a dinner in our casa which was a really fun experience. In all, I could not recommend Costa Rica, and especially Tulemar Resort enough. We are typically a family who prefers not to stay at a resort, and this was definitely an exception. We had fun on our excursions, but always looked forward to just spending time at the resort.…
We stayed 2 weeks at Tulemar and I can't imagine a more magical place. The staff was so incredibly friendly and just phenomenal. They went above and beyond always. The rooms were just gorgeous. The views, the animal life and private beach were stunning. We are hoping to go again. There's so much to do in Manuel Antonio. but if you want rest, relaxation and attractions then stay at Tulemar you will never want to leave.
A truly wonderful place to stay. We saw monkeys, birds and sloth from the patio. Highly recommend it. Our casa was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for our family. You can get grocery to go to restaurant and bars outside the resort.
The “security guard”at the gate is so rude horrible service not good for the first impresion 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 I dont know his name but have a horrible hair cut.. People is paying to get there.. So rude how he talk his mood 🤮
We had an amazing week at Tulemar in our premium villa. It was very spacious and had amazing amenities (dining, lounge, hot tub and grill on the patio) and a spectacular ocean and sunset view. The private beach had gentle waves and monkeys playing, boogie boards available to borrow, and food/beverage services. Staff was excellent in the restaurant and the beach. Each evening as we returned we would find a volunteer from the Sloth Sanctuary tracking sloths and we would get to see them in the trees above our car which was such a nice surprise. The minor thing that would keep me from giving this an excellent rating is that the premium villas (at least the one I stayed in) can use an update. For the price paid, I was surprised to find the curtains in the master bedroom nearly inoperable. Each night it was a struggle to get it closed for privacy. There was very little lighting in the patio over the dining area. And since there was no dining set inside, this means when we wanted to dine in and see our food, we either had to eat at the breakfast bar or on the couch. We tried finding the lights and there was an inordinate amount of light switches and knobs but none went to lighting the outdoor dining area. Also ,I was surprised to find no laundry detergent (even though there was laundry in the unit...other apartments that we paid a lot less for nearby would supply this along with dish soap and hand soap as basics).…
We saw more sloths in our six days here than anywhere else on our three week holiday around CR; about 11 in total, plus many squirrel, white faced and howler monkeys. There are also hermit crabs everywhere on the beach which are a lot of fun to watch crawling in and out for their shells. This really is a very nice place. We had a sea view from our bed which was nice to wake up to in the morning. We were provided with a free upgrade to their Tule Casa suite with a hot tube in the outdoor living area which was lovely - a benefit of going in low season. Definitely the largest hotel suite I've every stayed in, turned out to be incredible value for money with what they gave us I felt. I am really glad I booked this place, can't speak highly enough of it - the food was nice too at both restaurants we tried on site (Victoria's and Tule Cafe). If you are reading this and thinking of booking... I would urge you to do it. If your stay is anything like ours you will have a fantastic experience.…
