Andy and his son Andreas are awesome and very welcoming. They have lived in the Country for decades and really know all about what to do and where to go. Tres Banderas (three flags) represents the heritage the family brings to this boutique hideaway - The flags of Poland, the U.S.A. and Costa Rica are emblems on the bottom of... More

We stayed in 5 different hotels on this trip, and this place was, by far, THE WORSE!!!!!! The manager (the owner's son) was a jerk. He certainly should not be in the hospitality business. He didn't care at all about our room issues or luggage problems or anything. There are so many examples I could give you, but that would... More

I've been to Manuel Antonio 3 times and have stayed here 3 times, I will not stay anywhere else. The staff, food, and accommodations have always been top notch. Andy and company do a great job keeping rooms clean, free breakfast and great polish food.

Room clean, restaurant below average; poor guest services. Friendly kitchen staff. Enjoyed the visit of dozens of monkeys, who come to the hotel yard for a banana breakfast. Slightly overpriced. Better choices in the neighbourhood. Car rental a must.

Our restaurant White Eagle might not have been in your priced range but according to TripAdvisor reviews is definitely is above average. Breakfast comes included of course! Public transportation is the easiest thing around and above a car rental I would put a golf cart that runs on electric lots better. Pura vida! More

Family owned hotel. The owners were very cordial. It is older but was updated somewhat and it was very clean and had beautiful wood. The restaurant served Polish food and was good. The included breakfast was OK. Typical Costa Rican breakfast of rice/beans and eggs and toast with fruit or ham and cheese omelet. Large pool was great! Saw monkeys... More

Our family really enjoyed Tres Banderas! The restaurant was very good, the bar area was nice, and the pool was beautiful. Each room has a hammock on the porch, which was really nice for relaxing. There was enough room for all four of us (4 adults). We really enjoyed our stay! The only downside is the drive way, which would... More

The rooms with hammock a exclusively suites. We are 1km walking distance to the center of MA but in truth we are in the middle of MA 3km either to town or to the beach for which the public transportation works great with a stop just in front of the property. Pura Vida! More
