In overal this stay was pleasant BUT this place would be very average not having this location. Very nice common restaurant area, gardens and beach, always very clean. almost private beach in front is a big plus so you dont have to share your vacation with 1000 other people staying in Manuel Antonio. Rooms are basic but clean. comfortable beds and hot shower is provided. WiFi doesnt work much in the room. We had some issues with key cards in the worst moment possible. Staff is really friendly, english speaking and proffesional but would be nice to get some more attention at check in (some local tips for places to see or restaurants to eat). Breakfasts were ok but we would appreciate at least 2 options (salty and sweet), gallo pinto every day is not ideal:) Our biggest concern was getting coctails STILL with plastic straws and breakfast was served with these ridiculous mini butters in plastic one use packaging. shouldnt be happening nowadays anymore and places like this should be an example and not go with convenience but try harder avoid these not necessary plastics. Coffee at the bar is not the best. We had a good time at this place but for the price we paid can be better.

In the first room that we stay was really bad was a huge gap on the door and we had geckos and frogs inside inclusive in ours bags. When we went to the bed I noticed a weird smell I don't know if was a fungus or dust (you can see on the picture). The second room was much nicer but was humidity smell for the rest of the day's. The staff was great and they change us to another room, but wen we went to tell them what was going on the manager was a idiot. The place is really good located, is a nice view and they have a restaurant on the beach for that I will give this rating. If you want to stay here have a look on the room first.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The hotel is nicely located just by the Espadilla beach and it has direct access to it. There are lots of animals wandering around the hotel gardens including agoutis, iguanas and capuchin monkeys. We stayed on a standard beachfront room, which was clean, the bed was really comfortable and had a hammock on the balcony. We've had some issues with the mosquito net but this was solved during our stay. We recommend the beach front rooms as the other rooms are next to the main road and not as quiet. Also, one thing we noticed during our trip in Costa Rica, and this hotel was no exception, is that it is better to pay for a superior room if you are looking for better overall conditions, like bathroom and window maintenance. One example is that most superior rooms have a proper glass window in the bathroom whilst other rooms only have a net. The breakfast and other meals we had at the hotel bar were very good. The bar staff were friendly and there is also bar service at the beach. Juan Carlos was working at the bar on many occasions during our stay. He was a very nice and engaging person. He recommended some hikes and was very knowledgeable on the local fauna. Overall our experience was really good and the location was exceptional, so definitely recommended!

Karahe is a great hotel with all necessities to spend some time on the beach on the Manuel Antonio/Quepos location. Breakfast included with monkeys around on the trees, walking distance to the beach and beautiful nature everywhere. A/C, hot showers, very comfortable beds.

Quepos is a shabby beach town, overbuilt, very touristy. Our hotel room was clean, but needed an update. But the bed and shower were good. The main attraction of the hotel is the beach front, a rarity in Quepos. The hotel provides chairs and beach towels, and large trees offer shade. Vendors sell crafts, but they are polite and unaggressive. A beautiful beach for morning walks. The gardens are also pleasant. Tiny swimming pool. Adequate buffet breakfast in the open-air hotel restaurant. Watch out for the monkeys! The hotel is on a busy road, so walking requires care and attention.
