We had a two night stay here on a 9 day journey around Costa Rica with an 8th grade science trip. The grounds were beautiful and had beach access. The set up was a little strange with the main lobby across the street from the part of the hotel we stayed in so I never saw that part as our... More

Had a superb stay at the Karahe Beach hotel...location could not be better! Right beside the beach.....food was excellent....and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable. Would certainly recommend this hotel to others and more importantly I can't wait to go back!

The only problem we had was rather old and not working well plumbing for both the shower and the toilet. A very nice beach, decent restaurant, sufficiently clean and spacious room. Good breakfast. For the price it was very good value. Oh, there is wi-fi but it hardly ever works and cell reception is very bad in this area. Stayed... More

We stayed the last three nights of or 14 in Costa Rica. It is a great setting on the beach and the staff both at reception and in the restaurant and housekeeping are really nice people. This hotel is in the process of being upgraded so if you want nice, modern rooms, book the Superior Beach Front rooms. Or pay less and get less. One thing that is the same though is the beach access! Fantastic beach where at low tide you have 100 meters of sand and at high tide the waves allow for beginner... More
