We had a great stay here. The hotel site is beautiful and is teeming with wildlife, including monkeys (playing around the breakfast restaurant, jumping on our balcony, as well as in the treetops), sloths, lizards, snakes, frogs, and lots of butterflies and other insects. Although you do have to walk a bit around the large site, we enjoyed spotting wildlife... More

We had a room with a beautiful view!! The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The restaurants were not exceptional, but were still good. It was incredible to step outside your room and be able to hear the Howler monkeys nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

We were there at the beginning of July. We are a family of 5, so generally standards rooms are a bit small. So when we rented the family size room, with a complete kitchenette. The bathroom was very large and remodeled. Both my parents and two children loved staying here. I would recommend staying here. Oh and the resident wild-life:... More

Spent 3 nights, 2 in a bungalow and 1 in a studio. Breakfast was included, take this as an option. Will run you 30 USD for a family of 4. Best part is the car service to 3 restaurants. Bungalow good for bigger families, for 4 adults. We did not need it, the view from the studio and anaconda was... More

The hotel is perfectly situated on the top of a mountain overlooking the Pacific and the rim of a long extinct volcano. I was told that the owner of the hotel originally came from Connecticut, fell in love with the area and over a period of years built the hotel out of native wood and stone into the magnificent structure... They're not kidding about the monkeys -- we had to wait a few minutes for our room to be ready before we checked in, and what do you know but a swarm of white face capuchin monkeys comes hopping through the trees outside reception. There are also a number of sloths around the property that we saw with regularity. The... More

Excellent hotel. Great villas in the forest with a beautiful terrace and views. Great swimming pool from which to see wonderful sunsets. Great hospitality. I can only say good words about this privileged resort. I recommend the diurnal tour to Manuel Antonio and the nocturnal tour to Rainmaker forest for enthusiasts of the wildlife. Also, the dinners at the nearby... More

This is honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We stayed in room 1 and 2 of area D, and our lovely wood panelled rooms had balconies with panoramic views of the sea. Bats and birds flew past the window as the sun set right before our beds. The rooms have fans, air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave,... More

The Hotel Costa Verde is a great place to stay and begin the "Costa Rican Experience" ! It is close to Manuel Antonio National Park and Quepos. The staff is excellent! They worked hard to make sure our stay was flawless. Special thanks to Diego and Willie for the extra care given during our stay. The restaurants are fairly prices... More
