I think we had the best room at La Mansion ... #24 ... because we had a view of the Manuel Antonio park and the beach from the bedroom and then a little side sitting room with a view in the opposite direction. Two balconies. Very spacious room and bathroom. Nice pool and deck area ... felt great after a...

We had a fantastic six-night stay in April as a family of three. Our room (penthouse 4) was lovely (amazing views and very large and spacious) and we loved being in such close proximity to Playa Biesanz (which is a bit of an uphill trek coming back but totally worth it!) The pool deck is gorgeous; we saw a sloth...

The hotel is off the beaten path, but so is everything else, it seemed. After a relatively long and winding road past other hotels, you enter up a steep driveway to an extremely well maintained building. The staff was extremely accomodating, and the rooms were large with comfortable beds. The view over the bay is spectacular. We only ate breakfast...

My husband and I stayed at La Mansion Inn for our honeymoon 12 years ago. This April, we returned to Manuel Antonio with our two girls. Although we didn't stay at La Mansion (at the time, the hotel was adults-only, and we believed this to still be true--not the case!), we brought the girls for a quick visit. It's beautiful...

Thanks for your nice write-up and we appreciate having you as a repeat guest. I do apologize for the kids. We are still an adult hotel but sometimes guests who make reservations do not mention that they are bringing children under the age of 12. When they check-in we are in a sometimes difficult position of having to turn them...

After an amazing stay in the rain forest we were overwhelmed with La Mansion Inn on the coast. The humidity was like a brick wall though. We arrived before actual check in time but they allowed us a place to change into our swimsuits and enjoy the pool and pool bar while we waited. Upon check in they gave us...

Thanks very much for your review. Unfortunately, besides owner of the Mansion, I also serve as 4-term President of our Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Tourism and chair our Security Commitee. From time to time I get called away to tend to an emergency involving a tourist. In that case our Operations Manager fills in for the twice-weekly reception until...

We stayed here unfortunately for only 2 nights. I would have loved a week. The location in breathtaking and from the upper walk at the poo area one can see 2 different bays. The pool area is great with shade from trees and artificial covers available which is a good idea this close to the equator. Breakfast came with the...

Disappointing is the epithet that comes to mind. We stayed at the huge Cousteau suite an 80's pretentious horror with velvet curtains and chandeliers (this in a beach hotel). Took us forever to find the right light switch, for the "sophistication" of the place included several dimmers and difficult to find switches. Also it was impossible to walk barefoot since...

Another weird review! If you did not like this luxury, why did you not ask simply to change suites so you did not have to "suffer"? The 1000 sq. ft. Cousteau Suite with its expensive hard wood floors (that get cleaned twice a day) is only 10 years old and was designed with luxury in mind and was not designed...

Gorgeous facilities in a natural paradise! Excellent service and good food in rooms with phenomenal views of the Pacific Coast. Located adjacent to the Manuel Antonio National Park with the occasional 'visitor' from the park. Rooftop pool is great with spectacular views and good poolside service. There's a beach within walking distance though it is a bit of a trek...

We stayed at La Mansion after moving the from another hotel in Manuel Antonio. It was a wonderful surprise. The room was large and very comfortable, and while the balcony looked out on the main entrance (room #14), we spent most of our time when at the hotel at the pool and hanging out at the Sky Lounge. What a...

We were surpised at the size of our room- it came with a couch, TV, full refrigerator, and dining room! It was large and lovely! We had an enormous bathroom and the AC worked very well. The staff were very friendly and professional! The breakfast was delicious and the pool area and bar fantastic! It sits up on top of...
