Decent rooms and clean facilities. A little old and tired looking place. Pretty busy as Manuel Antonio is a popular destination. Staff are well trained but seem very busy. Views from the hotel are beautiful but can get noisy because of number of people staying here.
We stayed at 3 different hotels during our trip to Costa Rica and Si Como No was our least favorite/most expensive. The views were beautiful but the place needs a lot of updating to the rooms/general service. The food served at both the restaurants was just okay and way over priced. With exception of a few, the staff didn’t seem that happy to be there. We will definitely tryout a different place when we return to Manuel Antonio.
The staff is absolutely amazing!! Shayla at the front desk was always accommodating ready to help in any way to make our stay more enjoyable! Allen our waiter was fantastic, always giving us fantastic service with a smile! Gustave our bartender made the best drinks ever with the best service! There was also a women bartender who was also fantastic. The rooms were absolutely immaculate! They had squirl monkey, agoutis, sloths, capuchin monkeys and many more animals right at the resort. We had squirl monkeys come to breakfast most mornings. My only complaints are the food was mediocre at best and the resort is in need of some repairs.
I stayed at Si Como No for 3 nights with my husband and two daughters. The grounds of the hotel property blend in with the surrounding flora and fauna. While at the resort we spotted local wildlife including squirrel monkeys, frogs, toucans and macaws. We enjoyed the amenities such as the pool and pool slide during our stay. The food and staff at both restaurants were great! The staff was always very friendly and welcoming to the point that they made you feel like family. The food was fresh and delicious at both restaurants. Reservations were easy to make and the food was prepared quickly. The room was a little tight for our family of four but the views from the room made up for the lack of space in the room. The beds and amenities in the room were great. Our only issue with our stay was with a day tour booking. The tour was confirmed for the morning but we were never informed that the tour was bumped by 4 hours. Overall, we loved our stay and Si Como No and highly recommended a stay at this beautiful resort.…
We just left the Si Como No Hotel after our family vacation in Costa Rica. This hotel provided the true Costa Rican experience we had hoped for. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have amazing ocean and jungle views. We often saw monkeys swinging in the tree branches from our balcony as well as from the hotel restaurant, the Rico Tico Jungle Grill (which is also amazing). Toucans and macaws and many other birds can also be seen in the trees surrounding the hotel. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful, from Joshua who helped us with our luggage, Candy and Aaron at the reception desk, Allen, Evelyn, and Paola at the Rico Tico, Stefanny and Keilyn at the pool bar, and all the others that I didn’t get a chance to meet personally but worked hard to ensure a magnificent stay. If desired, there are additional restaurants within walking distance that are all very good. Your vacation will be pure luxury with a stay at the Si Como No Hotel.…
I loved my stay at Si Como No. The rooms were very comfortable, the view from the balcony is unbelievable. My first surprise was seeing some parrots, another day we saw toucans and our last evening we saw three sloths, right in front of our balcony. We saw monkeys while having breakfast. It was perfect. Oh, and every morning we were awoken by the sound of the howler monkeys, I loved it. This is because we closed the balcony only with the mesh sliding door instead of the glass and turned the AC off, if it´s not appealing to someone out there, it can be avoided. The restaurant was very accommodating of my children´s allergies to peanuts and soy. We appreciate each staff member that helped us through our stay, I always felt welcomed.
Loved this place and would happily return. The rooms are very comfortable, with the most luxurious balcony views. Bring binoculars! Staff very kind and helpful but never hovering. A relaxing and lovely stay. Restaurants on premises are fine, easy to walk to more options all around the hotel. Our teenagers were delighted too - tons of instagram ready shots!
From the minute we walked in to Si Como No we were greeted with warm smiles and hellos.Thr staff could not be more polite and friendly. Due to torrential rains the night we arrived we opted to stay and eat at Rico Tico and were not disappointed. All the staff were attentive and full of personality. The next 2 days when we spent time by the pool Keilyn was extremely nice and took care of anything we needed. She even helped my adult daughter by administering first aid to a skinned knee from the previous night’s fall. We were only in MA for 3 days and it was too quick especially when you must leave such a beautiful and accommodating resort and staff. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.
Attractive comfortable rooms with wonderful views out to sea. Lots of lovely plants round all the rooms. 2 Nice swim up bars, very friendly knowledgeable staff. Sadly the food let it down….. very easy to get anywhere as the bus stops right outside hotel going in either direction every 15mins so very efficient. Good national park nearby and wonderful ocean. Very good boat trip organised by hotel.
This is a lovely hotel with wonderful, pleasant people working there. Beautiful room with breathtaking views of the jungle and Pacific Ocean. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. Special thanks to Aaron in reception and Gustavo at the adult pool bar. Perfect area for jungle hikes too.
