Beautiful garden and swimming pool, with hot tub as well. Although I found it over priced for what essentially a bed and and also over priced breakfast at $10. Yes it is cooked and there is a range of homemade breads, though not value for money in my opinion. The hosts are wonderful, pleasant and ringing though. On the plus side it is reasonably accessible by bus for with MA or the town on the other side. If you’d no just, the walk would be a killer especially in the heat

Stop reading immediately if you don’t think you will enjoy my GUSHING over our recent stay! My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Costa Rica, and our stay at Coyaba. I chose Coyaba first of all because we always stay at small, intimate boutique style hotels and this fit the bill right away. Then it had almost all 5 star ratings on trip advisor with like 1 ridiculous bad review, so I contacted them and Mike responded right away and both he and Bryan always answered my questions immediately. Which was what sold me as well. We fell in love with both the setting and the staff right away. It is GORGEOUS!!!! It is immaculately clean and the shower is HEAVENLY!!!! Rooms are great, we stayed in one facing the beautiful pool and hot tub. That area is stunning with orchids and a real jungle feel!! Scarlet macaws fly over head many times daily. We opted for breakfast daily, Paul creates some lovely dishes and you will NEVER leave hungry!! Bryan, is not only helpful in booking tours and helping you with any information you need, but also very charming and funny to sit and chat with. We had so much fun with him daily. Mike and Paul are wonderful hosts who really care about your comfort and gave great recommendations on places to eat, as well as helping me out when I got a knee injury during my stay. They were always concerned and made sure I was ok!! ( sweetest people ever!) We highly enjoyed our stay, wish we were still there, and really miss them , especially my best friend Ginger!!!! We hope to return again !!

Beautiful oasis just outside Quepos. Mike, Paul and Bryan were unfailingly responsive before, during and after our stay. They arranged two great excursions (Manuel Antonio NP and a sunset catamaran/snorkeling trip) and fed us wonderful breakfasts. They were available without being intrusive, and shared their love of Costa Rica. The common areas are lovely, beautiful flowers, pool, and breakfast area. Our camera got left on the bed when we departed for San Jose and they managed to get it delivered to our hotel there - guessing we'd never have seen it again at some hotels. Highly recommend!

Really fun and easy experience. Mike is easy to reach on Whatsapp anytime, especially when you are planning your logistics of arrival and have other questions. His place is right across a bus stop so you don't even need to rent a car during your stay in Manuel Antonio.
