Bold in presence; playful in personality. Los Altos Resort Private Reserve & Beach is Manuel Antonio's premier laid back luxury boutique resort. The Los Altos aesthetic represents a sensitive integration between tropical authenticity and modern amenities. We offer 28 gorgeous private residences, each boasting a vivid Pacific Ocean view through floor to ceiling windows. Also, for a luxury resort in the heart of Manuel Antonio, our rates are very reasonable. Very reasonable, and you get a lot out of us, which we're happy about. We like to keep things simple.

This place is beautiful!!!!! Our host Kenneth took us to our room and as soon as the elevator opened we were blown away, the cleanliness, the space the sheer beauty of being in nature but not in nature is amazing!! Came here for my sisters 30th birthday girls trip and I would be back with my husband for a couples trip! They even put up balloons and had a cake with happy birthday for my sister!’ They think of everything!!

The hotel is great, rooms, restaurant, pool area, impressive view and great attention to details. To add to very nice experience, Paulo from the pool area just did a very good job on making us feel comfortable, his colleagues at the restaurant as well .When leaving, I had to join some unplanned calls with clients and called the front desk to request a late check out, the response was "make yourself comfortable, your family can use all our facilities or stay with at the room for free", no necessary to pay for late check out today. This is the place that I would really recommend, and that I am looking forward to come back .

Coming back here for the third time, definitely will come back for one more. The hotel room was fully equipped with all the necessary items to cook. room service was always available at any time. The hotel itself is one of the cleanest that I’ve ever experience. Highly recommended for both families and couples

We felt like royalty at Los Altos. Because we came during the winter/rainy season, the resort was sparse on guests and the staff paid incredible attention to detail with us. Henry, who was awesome, took us up to the suite and gave us the tour and explained everything for us. We arrived later than expected and were rushing to make our spa appointment, so Henry had them push it back long enough for us to get comfortable and the massages were incredible with the sun setting over the pacific with a canopy of jungle out the window. Dinners and breakfasts at the property restaurant, Karolas, were delicious and the service was 10/10 outstanding. Our waiter remembered our names and took good care of us the whole time, helping us get cocktails for the pool (pool bar was under renovation) and making recommendations for authentic dishes. The restaurant and spa all just apply your expenses to the room and you settle up at the end of the trip, which is convenient because you don’t have to carry around your card or cash while on the property. The first day, we came up to champagne and chocolates in the room, with cut flowers in the bedroom. Every evening when we came to the room, there would be a carafe of water with different fruit slices in it and a different sweet treat. That first evening we sat on the balcony soaking it in while watching beautiful scarlet macaws fly back and forth in front of us. The next morning, during breakfast, we watched a bunch of toucans in the trees right by the restaurant. Later in the day, while in the pool, we noticed sloths hanging out in the trees just feet from us. There were sloths in the trees feet from the pool practically the whole time we were there. The beach is a super quick drive from the resort. The resort will drive you down and pick you up. The beach is rocky but beautiful. We explored the edge of the jungle there and found some incredible shells. There were crabs on the rocks and little hermit crabs on the beach which were fun to watch. The times we ventured out to eat or explore, Henry and the crew at the front desk made sure we had rides there and back. They would call up to the room to check on us, to tell us when our rides and shuttles were there, would translate to drivers what we needed and where we wanted to go (my Spanish sucks). The proximity to other things was great. There was a bank (with ATM), a pharmacy and a general store directly beside us. I went and bought some local craft beers and sweet to enjoy on the balcony of the suite. There are several great places to each just outside the entrance (Emilio’s and the adjacent pizza place 👌🏼good food and breathtaking views, as well as the ice cream shop). You could also buy souvenirs for family just right next door too. We didn’t take advantage of the complimentary details like free cooking classes, free brunch cocktails, etc but we hope to come back and do those! I really felt like we were leaving new friends behind when we left because everyone was so kind and genuinely interested in engaging with us. I can’t wait to come back.
