My husband and I stayed here 2 nights. You couldn't ask for a better location for the beach (3 minute walk), and the National Park was right next door. We loved hearing the howler monkeys right outside our hotel room. We were even upgraded for free! The fresh fruit , juices, beans, eggs, pancakes, etc. were especially helpful for a... More

We stayed here for 7 days, 6 nights. The hotel is 1 meter from the entrance of the parc and that is so fantastic. Not only we were the first visitors at 7.25. But also the monkeys are in the trees next to the pool in the afternoon. A small renovation to the rooms, especially the bathroom, would be a... More

San Bada was very good for us. We only were going to spend 2 days in the Manuel Antonio area and we feel like we made the perfect choice in choosing San Bada. The staff is fantastic, and the hotel is in pretty good shape. The pool was very good. The breakfast was spot on. And the location can not... More

Awesome location right next to the national park and a short walk from the town beach. Right in the center of everything! We didn't even have to use our rental car for practically anything. The hotel staff was stellar, from Jeffrey at the front desk who was patient with us while booking all of our tours and outings, to Emilio... More

If you are travelling to Manuel Antonio National Park this is the place to stay. Just next to park entrance the hotel is very good, with very helpful staff and a great vibe. You have a nice pool, a route to the beach and you stay just in the 'middle' of the jungle. The bar and small pool in the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel San Bada (booked through Anywhere Costa Rica). And our stay was excellent. Things I loved: 1. complimentary breakfast with yummy omelette options 2. rooftop adults-only pool with nearby bar (reasonable drinks, beers running $3 and pina coladas running 6 (with a 2 for 1 happy hour on frozen drinks between 4-6pm) 3. access... The hotel location is great; right next to the park. Also a short walk to restaurants. Once you are on the hotel grounds you feel removed from all the commotion outside the park and you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. I loved the sounds at night and will never forget waking up to howler monkeys... More

The hotel was okay, nothing special. Large rooms but it is starting to show that it needs an upgrade. the people and the service were fantastic, everybody went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Definitely too expensive. The location is nice, right next to the Manuel Antonio National Park and 5 minutes away from... More

This is about as near as you can get to living in luxury within the rainforest. On arrival we were greeted by extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Checkin was a breeze, and our rooms were rustic luxury. Our balcony overlooked the rainforest and on our second morning,it was overrun with cute, hyper energetic squirrel monkeys, that stayed almost an hour, before... More
