My family and I spent 4 nights at The Falls - the apartment met our needs completely after a long-haul flight and journey from San Jose airport. The grounds are really beautiful, a definite highlight! It's extremely easy to catch the bus to Manuel Antonio National Park, the bus stop is less than 100m away. The staff were generally very friendly and service good. We would certainly stay here again.

Oh, my gosh! What a wonderful spot! The property has only 24 units and they have a very private feel to them. Very friendly staff at front desk and restaurant. Breakfast is included. Best thing: you are closely surrounded by nature/rain forest. We saw agoutis and iguanas on the grounds, and the night air was full of jungle sounds right out of a movie sound track: birds, frogs, cicadas, and howler monkeys.

The room was amazing. Very clean and an amazing bathroom. Staff was fantastic and the food was delicious. My only concern was that it was advertised that there would be monkeys on the property and there weren't. I picked this location hoping to see the monkeys. Other than that, a perfect stay, and highly recommended.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your nice review, we are sorry that you didn’t see the monkeys, they normally visit the hotel very often, but as free animals we don’t know when they will come, sometimes they come three times a day and sometimes they don’t show up for few days. Hopefully you can come back in the future and enjoy the monkey! Pura Vida!

Pro: -bed was very comfortable, Room 11 is a deluxe room and comes with a walking closet. -beautiful view of the garden/forest. I observed a squirrel monkey, a toucan, a coati and lots of iguanas near the pool area (must be their pets) -super convenient. Its right next to the main street so you can easily catch the bus to/from the beach, park, downtown quepos. Cost is 340 colones per ride. Give $1 to the bus driver and he gives you 160 colones back. -the food portion is good and huge. - a few steps to El Avion restaurant, very convenient for late dinners cons: -there are lots of tiny flies by the pool area , they gather around your head like a halo -not sure if it is due to the rain (it rains everyday at 5pm), but the diner is only open for lunch and not dinner. Was told the cook goes home at 2pm. -breakfast buffet is not so good because it is very limited and fruits are not replenished at all. However, you do get a menu that you can pick 3 hot items from it (Choices: fried/scrambled eggs, french toast, rice/beans, potatoes, pancakes) -hot water in shower is lukewarm only, sometimes a little too cold for me -Each floor has two rooms, the heads of each bed are arranged directly from each others, separated by the wall only. Location, comfortable bed, great views are very important to me. The Falls have all 3, yes I will return.

Thank you for your nice review, we are very happy that you enjoyed your time with us! And thank you for your feet back that help us to improve our service, the bugs are normal during this time of the year with rains almost every evening, that is our normal rainy season, sun till around 2:00pm and after that it can rain. The only day we closed the restaurant at 2:00pm is on Sunday, the rest of the week we closed at 10:00pm. We will love to see you back again and enjoy with us! Pura Vida!

I stayed at the well photographed room #2 and it is as beautiful as photographed! The entire staff is very friendly and attentive to all requests. The restaurant was almost empty the night I had dinner, but I was seated where I requested, The food is okay, the bartender was quite friendly and poured excellent drinks. My closest neighbor was an iguana who ignored me as much as I ignored him, but he was very cute! There was a family of Capybara in the front lawn area that were very interesting to watch. The proximity to the Manuel Antonio Park was awesome.
