We have never been able to be pampered like this and Casa Chameleon made our honeymoon the most incredible experience. They have truly spared nothing in making every single person's stay the most memorable and relaxing. Very quiet and secluded (though the road getting there was a bit...sketchy) which just added to the charm. Staff was wonderful. Food was wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer than three nights. Worth every penny.
My bf and I LOVED this place. Pictures could never capture the beauty of Casa Chameleon in Mal Pais. The wait staff were exceptional in everything they did. This resort has a max of 20 people. Very private and never a crowd. I truly did not want to leave. I felt blessed to experience this beauty.
We had an absolutely amazing honeymoon in Costa Rica. Our private villa at Casa Chameleon Mal País was breathtaking, peaceful, and relaxing. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the people were beautiful! It was the best winter getaway for our honeymoon... felt like we got the best sleep ever. Noelia was the best concierge at the resort. She took great care of us and made sure to maintain constant communication which made our stay easy. Marco was our favorite server and extremely professional. Whenever Marco was working, he made us feel like we were home away from home. He had such great energy. We highly recommend staying here, but note that although the food was yummy the menu is basically the same every day. The food on the island is superb and fresh so while you’re out on the town, stop and try some of the surrounding restaurants. Also, if you’re wanting a television, you’ll have to bring your own iPad to watch downloaded entertainment... it’s not really needed, so enjoy the peaceful getaway on this astonishing island! We will return.…
We had such a phenomenal time at Casa Chameleon. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Alfredo, Jairo, and the whole staff were amazing! They made us feel right at home and the service was top notch. We had so much fun getting to know the whole Casa Chameleon family. Plus the food and the rooms are just amazing! We will be back. Pura vida. Brett & Kenny
This is a charming hotel in an out of the mainstream part of the Western coast. A small hotel with individual bungalows- a nice touch to have your name on the door, superb views. The restaurant has a good menu - although if you stay for more than a few days I think it could get a bit repetitive- I think an occasional change or some specials would be good. However, there are good restaurants in St Teresa which is a short drive away. You will need some transport to explore the surrounding beaches - you won’t be disappointed. We hired a quad bike and had some fun. A very laid back stay, great helpful staff who are always happy for a chat. Highly recommended.
