The Staff at Cocal was very helpful, whether i needed an extra packet of coffee for the room or when i locked my keys in the room, they happily assisted me. Even when i wanted to add an night to my stay they let keep the same room. The servers and bartenders always gave me prompt and professional service. Thank...

We recently had two groups staying at the Vista Mar next to Cocal. While at the resort pool (12-3pm) we had approx 2K stolen from four different safes in two rooms. A review of security surveillance video revealed maids and the managers sister entered the room. When we attempted to contact the police we were told to walk 2 miles...

Can I call a spade a spade?? Went with a bunch of friends not really knowing what I was getting involved with. Prostitutes are not my thing. If they are...Jackpot!!! At night you cannot even walk through the bar area or casino. Well over 100 well dressed attractive hookers charging $100 per hour. They will swarm you and harass the...

I'd say there were about 50-60 slot machines, with lots of variety and updated games, as well as card games in the other room. The cashier changed my US $ into colones with no currency exchange fees. Waitress drinks were cheap ($2 US for a rum & coke) and they came around quite often to serve you. There were a...

Great Hotel for fun and relaxation. Right at the beach and at the heart of the city at a walking distance from everything. Nice bar open day and night where you can find company. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the food is good, and the girls are pretty, and the hotel is safe.

It's a really fun place for partying. It's not a family atmosphere to be sure but it is the best at what it does do. If your passing through the region or a group of guys looking for a great time, this is a must see.

I stayed here for two weekend nights by the pool. It was extremely noisy in the evenings all the way past 2 am because of the bar activities and music are right out side your door. The rooms are very basic. More in line with a $50 hotel so the rooms are very overpriced. The location is fine. Many restaurant options and...
