Our time in Jaco was our favorite part of our trip. Juan and Bryan made our time there so much fun. The old hangar is insanely cool. The room was spacious, we had our own bathroom, and everything was clean. The shared areas were nice and clean as well. Juan and Bryan helped us plan adventures like ziplining, a crocodile...

Just walked in and I absolutely loved this place:) Such a colorful area with happy people around. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, kitchen is huge and its in a quite hidden place. Only 5 min from the beach and main party places on the road. Lots of markets and restaurants around. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for making...

I did not stay at this hostel but used the bathroom while at the coffee shop. Juan was working behind the desk and was SUPER helpful and didn't mind taking time to show me plenty of beautiful places to visit (he even drew a map and got some photos up on the computer). Its the people that make a town,...

I started to stay in a private room but within minutes of turning the light out bugs were crawling on me. I moved to a dorm room and they bug bombed the private room the next day. No bug problems in the dorm room. Very hot though since no a/c. No a/c in the private room either. I liked that...

Hi Gia, I am Juan, I was the one who refund you the money for the private room and help you accommodate in the dorm. I am really sorry about that bug incident, but as I told you in the moment those were some species of ants who only come out at night, before you we had only one other...

A group of 13 of us stayed here for one night. The hostel was clean and simple. The rooms got a bit hot but it wasn't a huge issue. The hostel is located a few blocks from the beach and had outdoor space for guests to spend time in. Not too expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Hi Zoe, Thanks a lot for your opinion. We are proud to say we have one of the friendliest staff, and your comment reassures us that. We know that the heat in some of our rooms has been a issue to some of our guest, so we are working in making the stay more confortable. Pura Vida! Juan Calderon Manager

the bus from Quepos to Puntarenas broke just in front of the hostel so we didn't asked too many questions... basically it was ok but for that price i am sure you can find something better, you just have to do homework before.

If you looking for a place with a kitchen a good safe parking for your car and a good host this is the place for you. The bed wasn't the most confortable and there were some people hanghing around the room until late. The room was nice big and luminous but could have been cleaner

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hostel for 3 nights while travelling around Costa Rica. It definitely wasn't my favourite. We got this private room on the main floor, which looked kinda pretty with the orange curtains. But as others have said, the sheets do not fit the beds at all. Every morning we'd wake up basically sleeping directly...

The hostel's location was really central, but the staff/service was average (they did not really seem interested in their guests). The common room/kitchen was okay, but small and not really cozy and welcoming. The showers were cold and the bed sheets were pretty dirty.

My friend and I travelled around Costa Rica for 1 month and we can safely say this is the worst hostel in Costa Rica. Firstly, there is no hot water. I don't mean the water is lukewarm, I mean ice cold. So having a shower was not a pleasant experience. Secondly, the toilet paper is not regularly replaced and neither...
