We stayed at Saladero as part of the three lodge package, and wished we could have stayed longer. While all three lodges are absolutely fantastic, it's the personal commitment Sue and Harve bring to it, that sets Solidero apart. This is the first time I...More
This was the third lodge we stayed in on the Osa peninsula as part of the package arranged by Harvey from Saladero. All the lodges were wonderful and Saladero was a lovely lodge to end this part of our Costa Rica adventure. I loved the...More
Our extended family of seven (five teens/young adults plus two active--but slightly creaky--adults) stayed at Saladero for a week over the winter holidays. Between the tranquil and extraordinarily beautiful setting, and Susan and Harvey's exemplary hospitality, each of us had a wonderful time.

The rains start coming in May and so many of the tour companies start to shut down..its the beginning of low season... but its beautiful ..its called the green season! it is often sunny in the morning to afternoon and then some showers (some heavier then others!)
then it clears away and the sun shines again. Its not a cold rain, unless your in the Mountains, and then its quite a bit cooler
because of the rains the rivers are running off into the ocean, the visibility is much less snorkeling in may. hope this helps
